Stayed 3 nights and without a doubt this small family run hotel is one of Granada's hidden gems. Situated in a quiet side street but close to all the shops/squares/restaurants - it is THE place to be if you want a reasonably priced city centre hotel (with parking). Room/bathroom fabulous and was cleaned every day and fresh towels always provided. Was even able to sleep with the window open - in the centre of a major Spanish city this is usually nigh impossible - and this from someone who always travels with his earplugs..never used them. Lovely small terrace. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff...no breakfast/meals but there are so many wonderful eateries right on the doorstep..so if The Alhambra is on your list of places to see make sure The Rodri is on it as well.

We walked past this on a previous visit and noticed how well cared for it looked so we decide to book it for a return trip. We were not disappointed - the place is superb and excellent value for money.
As soon as you enter you realise how SPOTLESS it is. Clearly the staff take great pride in the establishment.
The room was just right, well furnished, stylishly decorated and QUIET (a very rare thing in any accommodation these days). Everywhere was immaculate. The bed very comfortable, the bathroom a very good size complete with some toiletries. Towels of very good quality. The fan in the bathroom went off as soon as the light switch was switched off (unlike many places when it stays on forever). Internet worked well.
We were even able to borrow an umbrella during some rain.
There is a small patio on the third floor which is a very pleasant spot to sit.
Excellent location near Trinidad Square with very good bars, restaurants, main shops and tourist sights within easy walking distance.
Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

Really loved this hostal , went as a result of reading other reports and they all are spot on , think the young couple who run it are lovely genuine people , with great energy for cleaning , the place is spotless. It's in a great location . The attention to detail is spot on and I especially liked the way they talked you thought the local map , helping with alhambra tickets etc , considering how often they do this , they do it with great enthusiasm and freshness. I would certainly stay again. Even a weeny outdoor terrace for the smokers . I used this when hubby had 40 winks , to sit and read for a while.lots of places nearby to grab breakfast. As many people have said , I have paid a lot more for a lot less. Book early !

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in September. We'd booked it based upon positive T/A reviews, and were glad we did. I can't add much new to the multiple other glowing reviews, but here's my 2 cents worth.

It may be classified by T/A as a B&B, but it's really a very small 10 room Hotel. There are no facilities to speak of - it's just a good a place to sleep & shower before heading out. Note: for breakfast there's an excellent pastry shop - turn right at Trinidad Square at the end of the alley, and it's across the street a few yards down on your left. You can get coffee to go there.

The Hostal is located in a very narrow alley, with no views at all, so if you're looking for an Alhambra view this isn't the place. Also, the immediate area might look a little sketchy at first, but it proved to be just fine at all hours (and quiet at night).

Our GPS guided us straight there. Without it I fear we'd have gotten into an endless loop in Granada's one-way streets. Our small rental car was parked in the 4 bay attached garage.

The location is fine for walking just about anywhere in Granada.

The rooms were fully refurbished just a few years ago. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were immaculate.

The staff were all wonderful - they could not have been more pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. My wife even got a goodbye kiss on the cheek from Jose's (wife?). Unfortunately I was not so lucky.

So, all in all, great value, and a great choice. Highly recommended - 5 ******.

Wow! Way better than expected. From the outstanding service from Jose and all staff, his attention to detail, the perfect cleanliness, the high quality fixtures and fittings, to the comfortable beds, quiet, dark rooms and tasteful decor. 45euro per night!!!! Are you kidding? We cannot recommend this place highly enough. Pre arrival service was outstanding too. Great cafe steps away for a quick breakfast on our way out sightseeing. The information that Jose provided for us was invaluable and above and beyond expectations. We would stay nowhere else!

Room Tip: All good...husband and I on one floor facing alley excellent. Two children different floor facing pa...

No wonder why Pension Rodri receives so many good reviews. This place is amazingly good value. The hotel is located 2 minutes from the cathedral. The bedroom we had - priced at 45 euros - was of a decent size and the bathroom was huge. The place is absolutely spotless clean - it looks like the cleaners are working non stop - everything shines. The owners and staff are really friendly. On arrival - as already mentioned by others - you will be shown on a map all the good places to see in Granada (attractions, restaurants and bars). You can easily walk to all attractions and to the train station. So don't look further - this is the place to be in Granada.

This place is perfect. My husband and I traveled throughout Spain for about 1 1/2 weeks and stayed at many different B&B type hotels and this one was the best. The location is perfect in Granada. The staff was very helpful. They have a parking garage. The hotel itself is understated, but stylish, and very clean. Our room was wonderful and spacious. The bed was very comfortable (great sheets and pillows). And the bathroom was big, very clean and very functional - it even had it's own balcony! This is an exceptional value and you're not giving anything up by not staying at some expensive hotel.
