As others have stated location is great and offers easy access to Alhambra through public transport which is 10 min on a bus or taxi, but all the good things about the hotel ends there. If you are driving down to the hotel beware parking is in a public paid parking in the same building...it is expensive at approx 20 euros per day. A hot water kettle for tea/coffee is standard across most known hotel chains but not here....it is available only in superior rooms not in standard rooms. When we were checking in the receptionist offered us promotional rate for breakfast which was 12 euros from usual 15 euros per person, I asked would he charge for my 5 year old daughter, he thought for a second and said ...ya half price...! We were on 6 day trip to Andalucia and stayed at NOVOTEL and HILTON which were far better value for money in my opinion.

Good hotel in this well respected chain but excellent city centre location has the obvious issue of noise at night. Staff excellent throughout the hotel, parking is possible though a challenge to get to in the city's system and free wi-fi an expected asset which works well. Good breakfast selection and good bar system gives service. We had an upgrade room which was spacious but too cool for best comfort in spring weather sadly.

We stopover in this hotel for 1 night, to explore Alhambra.

Location - It's in a fantastic location in city center, Granada is not big anyways. Easy access to train station by cab, cost a few euros incl 2 big luggage. The street was beautiful, and i don't mind noise at night. There're some very nice restaurants near the hotel as well.

Room - The room was small and well appointed, with bathroom in good size. It's a bit dark even we switched on all lights.

Staff - The front desk staffs in the afternoon were very nice and helpful, while the lady in early morning was not so interested in our inquires. It happens to anyone sometimes not in the mood.

Overall, it's a very efficient stay for 1 night.

We could have done with some directions and the car park is not clearly marked and difficult to access but for us it was an essential item. Parking is also expensive. We arrived, relieved to have made it, and thereafter were not disappointed. The hotel is very comfortable and the room suited us admirably. The breakfasts were outstanding and the one lunch we ate memorable. The service was universally pleasant and obliging. We found the first Spanish vino blanco which we really liked as an added bonus.

Room Tip: Consider an upgrade from standard if available

If you want a hotel in the centre of Granada you won't be much better than the NH, that said take some earplugs the Spanish are a noisy bunch and this is in the thick of it. Room pretty good as was the breakfast

The parking does cost Euro20 day, so we got a nasty surprise on the our exit (staff do not inform their guests about this) and its not advertised on their website

Also on our final day the hotel had no hot water first thing, the hotels attitude was this was OK as service was resumed until after 9am, I requested a discount and it was declined.
