We spent one night in the hotel. We found it to be well located to access all local tourist attractions and provided good value for money with an above average standard of service for a centrally located city hotel.

This hotel was very clean and close to everything. We had a great stay here. Rooms were big and I loved they had wood floor instead of carpet. They helped us get tickets to the Alhambra from one day to the next. I would definetly stay here again.

Position excellent for access to great restaurants, shopping and sightseeing bus. Also easy walking distance to Cathedral and old Jewish quarter. Room and bathroom good size. Decor of hotel generally a little outdated and in need of renovation. Good food selections for breakfast. All staff very helpful, particularly one night when my husband had a medical emergency.

Went here for a weekend with family, the hotel is clean overall and staff are friendly and polite. The rooms are spacious but dated and heated by the air conditioning, we asked for someone to check our air con as the dial would not go below 15, we where then advised that this was as low as all the air conditioning systems went. This was not true as the other couple with us who were three rooms down could put theirs to zero. 15 does seem low enough but I can assure you that warm air was being blown out.

There are also no facilities for tea, coffee in your room, only a very overpriced mini bar, 3.65 for a small bottle of water!

There was a good selection of pastries, cereal, fruit, breads and juices from the breakfast menu but the cooked option was very limited and of a poor standard, eggs, bacon and sausages which were little cocktail sausages that should have been in a tin of beans. The chef/cook seemed to be able to ruin everything they touched, poached eggs either solid or raw and scrambled eggs that looked like they had been throw off the roof.

Overall we had a good stay, it's just a shame that these two points that could of and should have easily been rectified, let the hotel down, I would only rate this as a 3 star hotel.

Me and my family spent 2 nights in this hotel. The hotel is very clean but slightly bland with a dated feel

The breakfast is reasonable with a good selection of cereals, pastries, fresh fruit etc however the cooked options are minimal (eggs, bacon and sausage) on the first morning of my stay I chose the poached eggs with bacon, I got 1 rasher of bacon with a poached egg that resembled a golf ball! My family members hot breakfast was no better, pre cooked cocktail sausages that I can only assume had been warmed in the microwave.

The in room facilities are very limited, with an overpriced mini bar and no access to an iron so make sure your clothes are ironed before arriving otherwise you will have to use the laundry service at 5 euros per T-shirt

There is free (very slow) WIFI access which needs to be renewed every 24 hours with a new password.

Overall I would only recommended this hotel based on the location as it right in the centre of town and within walking distance of all the attractions.

The hotel room when we first walked in was like heaven, it was a good size and had everything we could want in a standard room. The view was great, we could see the mountains in the background and watch people walking across the square. But when we actually slept in the room our enthusiasm waned considerably.

The street noise was horrible, this may be because the double doors to the outside were slightly broken and so didn't close properly - it's possible if this was fixed the room would be quieter.

Worse than the street noise was the noise from next door, either very noisy neighbours, or a maid closet that is used at 2am. We could hear everything going on next door, they need better sound proofing, but again I don't know how they can fix this. If you're a heavy sleeper it won't be a problem.

And a small problem, but one that can be fixed is the TV channels. I know we are lucky if we get any English channels, but they say they have bbc news and they don't, the only English channel is Russia Today, basically anti American and anti British propaganda from Russia. I'd have been happy with BBC News or CNBC which all of our other Spanish hotels had.

We had an ok time here, and it's not a bad hotel, but not sleeping isn't the best way to spend your honeymoon.

This is an excellent hotel, in a great location. Fairly strong business focus, and it feels like it. It certainly fits the description, but not much more. It is very good, but not excellent.

Staff were really helpful, and pleasant.
