We were very very happy about this small restaurant. We decided to visited it according to the tripadvisor rates. The staff, particulary the guy, were very friendly. We did not book so we have been invited to wait and we did. The paella was just great, the gaspacio amazing, and the ither starters... simple and modest staff who served and cook perfectly

“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed August 8, 2014 via mobile

It took us a while to track down but we were glad we persisted.
A simple, straightforward offering combining good food and flamenco guitar music.
The paella was freshly made (around 20-30 mins as mentioned in the menu) and was delicious. Good wines & of course the talented guitar playing along with bright and courteous waiting staff made it a special evening.

“Great paella and fideua!”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

Went to the lovely city of Granada and after some searching (address on tripadvisor is old, this restaurant has moved to Calle Tendillas de Sta Paula 6! Change it please Tripadvisor! Went on a wild goose chase ), we found this gem of a restaurant. We were hankering for some good paella and that is what we got.

We ordered to share between 2 one paella mixta and fideua (noodle dish with similar flavours to paella) to share between 2. They were huge!!! So much so, that we had leftovers to eat for breakfast the next day. It was 11-12€ or so each for lunch and a free aperitivo came as well. We ordered a round of "tinto de verano" (wine and soda sunmer drink) and had a nice time chatting, snacking and drinking while we waited the expected 25 min for the food.

Went the food, arrived we were not disappointed! Both the paella and the fideua were excellent! Service was also great and the waitress was informative and helpful.

We also saw that they did offer a "menú del día" sometimes (starter, entree and dessert for a set price but not available on our day) which would be a great deal, look out for it.

(Just a note: for dessert, we walked over to Los Italianos to have some ice cream, best ice cream EVER, you got to check it out. The stratciatella? Yum!)

We loved La Parrala and would go back again and again. Best paella thus far in Spain

“Great red wines, salad and paella”
Reviewed July 31, 2014

Only one waitress and she served all tables? Amazing positive attitude with great service. The red temperanillo-Shiraz wine I had was really good at 3 euros a glass. The Andalusia salad (huge portion) was also unique and had dried figs, mushrooms and sliced parmesan cheese in it, nice combi. Also tried the seafood firdeua which came with fresh prawns. This resto is definitely worth a visit. The only downside is that there's no outdoors seating and the aircon was kinda chilly.

“Lovely paella”
Reviewed July 30, 2014 via mobile

A lovely modern restaurant near the cathedral in the centre of Granada. As paella was the house speciality we opted for the mixed paella. Everything was cooked fresh so we had to wait 30 mins for it to arrive, it was worth the wait though. The restaurant would have got 5* however the air con was so fierce that our paella was stone cold within 10 mins.
