This was our third visit to Granada & until now we had never had a decent meal there. However this little paella restaurant was a real find & we have finally had a lovely meal in Granada! We had the mixed paella which was yummy. As you have to wait while they cook the paella we had a couple of starters; a half portion of the meat platter & the home made pate both of which were very good. Our waitress was very friendly & spoke excellent English. The live guitar playing was pleasant & added to the atmosphere. If you are looking for excellent paella in Granada you won't do better than this restaurant.

Delicious, friendly, relaxed, reasonable price. Paella heaven. Good for veggies too. Succulent guitar. All restaurants should be like this, it makes it seem so simple to do. Eat here.

I am forever searching for the perfect paella so I was happy to learn these guys cook each paella to order ... of course that means a 25 minute wait but well worth it. There are five varieties offered: typical shellfish, typical chicken & pork, lobster and crab, Iberian ham, and vegetarian. In addition to saffron the cooks uses a secret ingredient to give his paella distinction (I won't give his secret away). It was different. They also have free flamenco dancing in the evenings. Good service and pricing.

Agree with all previous comments, but is currently at: Tendillas de Santa Paula 6. 10 mins walk. Good decor, and clean. Seems quite. established. Wine list is good with all available by the glass. Worth the walk.

I have spent around 5 weeks in Granada and I have to say La Parrala is one of the best places to eat & drink!
It is indeed a bit more "posh" than the regular " tapas bars" that can be found everywhere in Granada but the atmosphere is also more special... extraordinary seafood paella for which it is well worth the 20-25 minutes wait... fantastic local wines... and a great flamenco playing guitarrist that will complete the mood!!!
Prices are around 12 - 15 EUR / person for the paella and 2-3 EUR for a glass of wine... and do take into account the paella can be ordered if at least 2 people will enjoy it afterwards... and enjoy it they will! :)
I highly suggest to include this to your itinerary when in Granada!
