“Perfect place to dine in Granada!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2013

This is a lovely restaurant in Granada with a very personal touch. I went twice to this restaurant during my stay. I was greeted personally by the head waiter, who spoke perfect English as well as Spanish, and enjoyed the selection of local wines and cuisine, which was excellent. The restaurant kindly added an entrée to my order on the house and also a dessert, which was much appreciated. The decor is warm and inviting. I would highly recommend for tourists or those wishing to eat well, away from the standard fare offered by the many "generic" restaurants in the centre of town.

“Excellent meal & experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

We were so lucky with food in Granada! had some great meals, this being one of them. We went here having seen other reviews & it didn't disappoint. We were warmly welcomed and the way our G&Ts were served was an experience in itself (very large glasses & ice cubes etc). We shared a starter of black pudding lasagne (they recommended to share as so large & they were correct), absolutely delicious with the depth of the pudding combined with sweet tomato. Followed this with knuckle of pork when the meat literally fell off the bone & my husband had the bulls tail, again fabulous. So filling, we had no room for dessert sadly, but the complimentary sherry and chocolates were lovely. The guy who owns this restaurant knows his stuff & provides first class customer service along with delicious food & wine, we will definitely return when in Granada again & thoroughly recommend it.

Found this on tripadvisor and glad we gave it a go, very attentive staff serving good food in a pleasant and convivial atmosphere. Excellent menu, including English version, supplemented with daily specials.

“Lovely meal and wine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

We ate here on our last day in Granada and I'm glad we choose it for our final meal. Everything was cooked brilliantly and the flavours were powerful. I would definitely go back. The restaurant was very modern and would make a good special dinner or a casual sit down quick lunch.

“Delicious flavoursome food & friendly staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

This little gem of a restaurant tucked away in the historic centre of Granada was certainly well worth a visit for its delicious food & friendly attentive staff, both Rabo de Toro & Bacalao confitado (Oxtail & Cod) dishes to be recommended washed down with & a very pleasant bottle of Gran Feudo Rosado. Despite all the tapas given away so freely in the bars & restaurants of Granada leaving little room at times for a full meal we decided we wanted to sample at least one full evening meal here & we were glad we did. The atmosphere was very pleasant, modern surrounds & not crowded nor rushed service. Although we didn't have any room for dessert a small sampler was brought to us of delicious homemade cheesecake to finish our meal. Would certainly recommend La Botilleria for a quality meal at a reasonable price.
