situated nearby the plaza nueva, this tapas bar is an istitution in town.
the niveau interior is the only manco in this location, the tapas are mainly fish wich is great.
for every ordered beer there is also a great tapa at the only beer cost.this is a tradition in granada and andalucia.

“Fresh, delicious seafood. Exceptional!”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

This is a bustling place with modern décor and THE BEST seafood we had on our 8 day trip to Andalucía! The free tapas that arrived with each drink were all excellent (aubergine for the first dish and sautéed mushrooms for the second) but we also ordered the largest plate of mixed fried seafood and it was delicious. Very fresh, beautifully tender. As other reviewers note this place is full of locals and it seems popular in spite of the slightly higher prices. Maybe this isn't the photo-op that some tourists want but the focus is very much on great fish and seafood, cooked well, served quickly washed down with a glass or two of beer.

“Yummy crispy fried things”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

The service is very friendly and efficient, the food is simple and tasty, and the atmosphere is festive and relaxing. I don't know that I would plan on eating a whole meal here, but if I were back in Granada, I wouldn't hesitate to return for a drink and a plate of fried shrimp.

“Deep-fried pleasures”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

The big tapas dishes of this modern, popular and very centrally located restaurant in the centre of Granada are a good choice for tourists. A racion of deep-fried seafood is a perfect meal for two persons, and even more perfect if one is unlucky enough to be hungry at siesta times: the restaurant is open at most times of the day. The plates are in general generous, and a racion would be more than enough for two people. The staff is professionally friendly and if one doesn't stay too long, you can avoid the deep-fried smell of your clothes.

“Great lively Mainly Fish Tapas”
Reviewed November 24, 2013

Went here our first night in Granada as @it was just around the corner from our hotel and receptionist said it was good. When we arrived the place was not too full and we got a table easily enough. The waitress brought us drinks and then two lots of free tapas but as the place filled up we had to wait quite a long time to order our food. Our original waitress appeared to have gone off duty but eventually a waiter did come and take our order. Food came reasonably quickly and was good but I would say not startling. Place was buzzing with great atmosphere and I would certainly recommend for a tapas type experience and food.
