“Authentic local bar with lots of great wines.”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

This bar is great to try spanish wines. They have a great variety. Free tapas are good, but the hosts are great. They help you pick nice wines and give you a lot of information. Also, the tourist-local ratio is 10-90.

“Fantastic local taberna - well worth a visit”
Reviewed June 2, 2013 via mobile

We headed down after reading glowin reviews on TA, and weren't disappointed in the least.

Fantastic building and ambience, great selection of wines, and with knowledgable and helpful staff who helped us navigate the wine list (we were given some great local recommendations), and were patient with our Spanish too!

Overall it's great value, with increasing quality of Tapas served with each drink; we had a great couple of hours here...

“Fantastic wine bar! Excellent tapas as well.”
Reviewed May 21, 2013

What a treat! My wife and I sampled a number of local wines (thanks to the proprietress for excellent recommendations!), the free tapas was unusually high-quality, and the foie gras ranked with the best I've ever had. A great, late-afternoon break in the day. Simple and indelibly memorable.

“Great wine bar”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

Open at 8 pm full by 9 pm. Very large selection of delicious expensive wines. Knowledgeable staff. Upmarket clientele. OK but not great tapas, shame there are no tables outside as it was a bit hot in May, perhaps they have AC in the summer.

“Not for Tapas!”
Reviewed May 10, 2013

I went around 7:30pm on a Friday night but the door still closed.
Came back around 10:30pm this tinny place already packed with standing room only.
2 Sangria and Assorted Tapas plates for two, additional with the free tapas when we ordered the drinks.
Took a look at the Tapas plates when it was brought to us, I already knew this is not a place for tapas.
Or any food coming out from their kitchen.
No imagination Pintxos Tapas with two slice each of sausage and cheese.
Kindergarten preparation effort!
And they don't served Sangria he put lemon juice into red wine and gave it to us but it tasted pretty good, going to try that at home.
It a place to drink wine, just stick with the free tapas they offer free for you but stay away from
their tapas (I also observed what other ordered, not impressed)
