Really lovely, picturesque hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Central and close to all the best sights. 20 minute walk up to The Alhambra. Also close to town, shops and great tapas restaurants. Perfect location for a weekend stay.

Although we only spent one night here, we loved the place. Room was fine and we enjoyed the coffee and sweets in the lobby area. Walking distance to the Alhambra and many shops and cafes. Note that the side street involves a climb of several stairs to access the hotel entrance

The staff is helpful; rooms are rustic & soulful. Nice breakfast with great coffee. Great location for walking everywhere. Quiet at night. Walk to the Alhambra, Albaicin, and Calle Navas bars. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel, excellent location, in the heart of Granada, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended and would stay there again. It is always the detail that is important and in this hotel they look after the smallest detail.
Room tip: I stayed in room 40 and loved the bathroom

We found this hotel very authentic in 16 th century Moorish design and it felt very cosy. Rooms are arranged around a rectangular patio which was decorated with plants and sofas. The staff are very informative and helpful and the location could not be better being a 20 minute walk to the Alhambra palace. Beware that there is no parking due to location being in the UNESCO heritage site, and traffic is restricted. However there is plenty of choice of tapas bars directly on the the doorstep which was fortunate for us as we didn’t have the best weather. The weather was also a factor in our stay because we were on the top floor and the roof did leak during some heavy rain. I’m a 16th century building this is to be expected. However we were upgraded to a beautiful ground floor apartment the next day. Also note that some bedrooms are not spacious and our first room had literally a small closet with about 4 hangers and no shelf space whatsoever in either the bedroom or the bathroom, which with two of us, made it impossible for me to unpack.
The breakfasts are very good in choice, quality and quantity. The staff could not have been any more helpful.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The first thing you appreciate is it’s location, which despite being a 10 minute walk from the nearest parking, is in the perfect location to explore the flamenco and tapas of Plaza Nuevo and the many other delights of this multifaceted city.
The greeting we received from every single member of staff was as warm as the spring sunshine and the breakfast was as “moreish” as the magnificent architecture of the Alhambra, which we could see from our bedside!
As you’d expect from a Renaissance palace, the rooms and communal spaces are characterful and offer the perfect escape from the cluttered, cobbled streets of the Albaicín.
The hotel did an excellent job of accommodating a request to move rooms and put us into Room 43. I highly recommend this room! If you can handle the stairs, the reward is a private terrace perfect for sipping a glass or two of tinto di verano!
