This is a lovely small hotel with a wonderful location. Personnel is very attentive. Breakfast is plenty and fresh. Near La Alhambra. My partner and I felt very welcome here. We felt it was a good value. The only slight inconvenience was the spiral stairway on our room (29), which is a bit ackwardly located. Recommended!!!

My partner and I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights for our honeymoon. It is a modest hotel but it has a very authentic feel to it, it's clean, quiet and it has lots of character. The room was small but very pretty and perfect for what we needed. We had a stunning view of the Alhambra and the location was fantastic. The staff were helpful and friendly and we were greeted with a nice bottle of sparkling wine in our room!

It is within easy walking distance of lots of points of interest in Granada. I highly recommend going along to the Parque de las Ciencias (large science park) but be careful because it is closed on Mondays. Lots of tapas bars right outside and plenty of things to see and do.

I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back in the near future!

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Alhambra.

We enjoyed our 2 day stay here. It is centrally located, very convenient to the Albaycin and the Alhambra, yet in a quiet spot. The staff was lovely and helpful, patient and attentive. We changed rooms after having a bad night on an uncomfortable bed, in a room with a strange circular stairway to a loft we didn't need. There was no place to put our bags, no drawers/bureau, no safe, and the in-room stairway took up a lot of floor space and seemed dangerously right in the door way to the bathroom. Besides not being able to sleep because of the mattress, there was a strange click/beeping every hour in the bathroom that I was unable to disconnect; it seemed to be an air freshener-- and we did detect an odor in the bathroom and understood why it was there, but hated the noise it made. When we asked at the desk about our room, we ended up in the room I had thought I had originally selected, with a view of the Alhambra! there was more space and there was no in-room stairway. Best of all, the bed was comfortable, the most important feature of any room! Bottom line is that this is a nice hotel, just be sure to request a superior double room!

Room Tip: Request a superior double with a view of the Alhambra

This is a modest hotel in the ancient Arab part of town. It is within walking distance of the Alhambra, the old Spice Market and other points of interest. When you enter the hotel the first thing you see is a 15th century fresco and there is wonderful modern art everywhere. The beds are rock hard but the ambiance is lovely.

We stayed here in April. The location was perfect for exploring Granada. The room was lovely and cleaned thoroughly everyday. The main double bed was fine, however, the bed in the upstairs mezzanine floor needs replcing. My 11 year old son kept us awake every time he moved as the springs were faulty. The mattress was also in need of replacement. This aside, the hotel is an excellent place with good choice at breakfast, outstanding service and, if they improve the beds, we would efinitely stay again.

Hotel is located in a good location, easy walking distance to most sights. You very much get that Moorish feeling looking out the windows of the hotel. While the room was fine, I have to say I was disappointed with the bathroom. For one, there was a considerable amount of mold in the area between the door and shower in our bathroom. Immediately discovered the cause of this is that it is nearly impossible to contain the water from the shower head within the bath tub. In hindsight we should have tried to stay in Plaza Nueva (ideally in a hotel with less "character").

We spent one night in this historical hotel. We like the history that we can just feel the minute we walk in (see picture). We also like the fact that we can walk to just about any points of interest in Granada from there. The amenities have been updated, but don't expect 2-thumbs up on the comfort department and 21st-century convenience. The room is small-ish with lumpy mattresses. The lack of vent makes taking long showers difficult without making a wet mess of the bathroom. Our room faces the front alley and gets a bit noisy when the streets are filled with Late-night partiers. Wi-fi is in the lobby only. Overall, I would say that it's not a bad hotel for just a one-night stay.
