Like most traditional Moorish homes(this one was built in the 15th century,) the outside gives no clue to the beauty and peacefulness of the interior. Comfortable rooms, just enough luxury and free parking. Views of Alhambra from some rooms with mini balconies. Hard to get to by car even with GPS but worth it. Only negative is expensive breakfast with poor quality coffee.

Lovely small hotel in old traditional house complete with courtyard fountain, close to the Alhambra and good restaurants. Also had tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and everything worked well. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: First floor room on the street was quiet at night.

This hotel was a last minute replacement on our Spain trip after discovering the hotel we had booked for Granada did not have a bathroom door and also was not close to the Alhambra. At Casa Morisca we could sit on our (tiny, but cute) balcony and gaze upon the beautiful Alhambra (we also had a bathroom door, yay!).

My understanding is that a local architect designed this hotel to be an historical reconstruction of the 15th century Moorish home that it is. The open air courtyard with beautiful wrap around wooden balconies as room hallways made us feel like we had stepped into another world. The wonderful history of this hotel was the perfect compliment to our visit to the Alhambra.

The Casa Morisca now holds a special place in my heart, and is my favorite hotel of all time.

Room Tip: The wifi is finicky. You need to be in the hallway to get a good signal from the router at the front...

Fantastic small hotel at the quiet end of the old part of Granada. Ideally placed for the Alhambra but just past the more touristy bit so nice and quiet at night. Staff very helpful, room was just what you'd expect from a traditional hotel.

We loved this little hotel. The location in the Albayzin was perfect. Just a couple of minutes walk to the steps to the Alhambra and close to restaurants. A little bit of a walk to the town centre, but mainly a nice walk - and mainly flat. The staff were so friendly and helpful and were very accommodating when we had a late afternoon train on the day we left and needed somewhere to rest. Breakfast was good, and plenty of it. We had room 15, which was a bit small, but had a fabulous view of the Alhambra. (Room 14 also had a nice view and looked slightly larger, but (if memory serves me correctly) the bathroom is up a few stairs. We would highly recommend this delightful hotel.

This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at duing our trip to Spain. We stayed in a first floor room facing the street and had no problems with noise at all.Parking was right outside the hotel on the street. The room and bed were comfortable. It is a little walk to the town centre but along a beautiful road with views of the Alhambra and river so it never felt like a chore to get into town. Getting to the Alhambra was easy as there is a short cut from close to the hotel up to the entrance. It is quite a steep climb but lots of wildflowers, olives and the views made it worth the walk.

We were welcomed by Wilfredo, a very articulate and able English speaking receptionist. He took an interest in our well being and and put us at ease immediately. We only stayted bed and breakfast, but found the staff friendly and efficient. Superb location in the old quarter of Granada, enabling exploration of the area influenced by Roman, Moorish and Spanish architecture. Splendid restoration project is shown, in a set of pictures of how the hotel came to be as it is today. Pleny of restaurants nearby affording superb view of the Alhambra.

Room Tip: Be aware some rooms do not have a view, ask for a room with a view of the Alhambra or at least with...
