Plaza Nueva Hotel is situated next to.....Plaza Nueva which gives easy access to Alhambra, Centro, Albaycin and other main areas of the city within a walking distance.
The room given was very good size, windows to the street with some noise in the evenings but this is only normal in Spain so I would not worry about it.

Good value for the money!

It was little horror to get here by car, but we managed. We were welcomed by nice guy, who advised us all necessary things. We got that nice room with wiew to square and Alhambra. Breakfast was traditional Andalucian.

Room Tip: view to square, room 36

We greatly enjoyed our short stay in the Plaza Nueva hotel. Plaza Nueva is perfectly placed for tourists (although is also the home of some rip-off restaurants) and our room, 36, was double aspect with a view of the square and of the Alhambra. Towards the very end of our stay learned that the restaurant accessed from the hotel lobby has a top rating from Trip Adviser too, but sadly didn't eat there. Warmly recommended.

Lovely little hotel with a great view of the Plaza Nueva. Staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms where clean and the upgraded suite was large for European standards. we were here at Easter and all the precessions could be viewed from our Hotel room. being on the plaza it could be a little loud but that did not bother us.

Room Tip: Upgraded room had the balcony over the plaza

Spent a week here, just off of the Plaza Nueva. Some rooms look out over the Plaza, sadly (or happily) ours did not. We were there for Easter weekend and so the Plaza was very busy with processions, hence happily. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK, fresh juice, plenty of meats and cheeses, coffee very good and freshly prepared. Our side street room was quiet(ish) as most Spanish tend to stay out late, and the bars seldom close before mid night, and there are at least 15 bars within a very short walk, many of which do excellent tapas.
Wifi very good. The hotel website claims a restaurant, which is really only a cafe which only serves breafast, and the bar is a fridge in reception with a stock of beer (usually only 4 cans), water and fizzy drinks, supermercado along from the hotel is better value for all of these.
The hotel has seen better days and could do with a little TLC (hence only 4 dots), but it was clean, warm and tidy.
Would happily stay here again.
