“Superb Flamenco w/ Authentic Setting”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

In a tiny cave off the Plaza Nuevo just to the left of the river is Le Chien Andaluse (sp?). We sat in the front at a low table and the singers, dancers and musicians were so close the dancer brushed past us several times. The music is passionate and provocative, the food tasty and timely. The costume is perfect. During the break, the performers are upstairs jamming w/ each other and it is more delight to enjoy. There is no reason not to go (except a migraine...don't go if you have a headache). It is loud, gritty, and gorgeous. It is a cultural phenomenon not to miss.

“Fun Tourist Flamenco”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

We were in Granada and wanted to catch a flamenco show. We looked at a few different shows and this one was best for us do to price, location, and time we had.
This little spot is easy to find near Plaza Nuevo. They have 8 and 6 euro tickets. (8 gets you a table near the front but they sell out ahead of time) The place has a fun vibe. You are in a narrow "cave" with people on stools and chairs packed infront of a small stage. It started with a guitarist and singer for a song. Then a second singer for a song or two. Last the dancer came out. Lots of energy and was really fun to watch. I have never been to a flamenco show before so I can't speak to the quality, though I can only guess for the price. That said my wife and I had lots of fun. Drinks were well priced and though we didn't order any the food looked and smelled good.
As there isn't "set seating" I'd recommend getting their a little earlier than the scheduled show time to get a better seat.
