This hotel is a real gem. Situated right in the heart of the old town, down a side street, so very quiet and peaceful. It's actually an old villa with original furnishings. The couple who run it are really helpful and we had breakfast served on the roof with views of the mountains and Granada. Fantastic breakfast - included in price of 25 Euro per room! There's a radiator in room which they turn on if it's chilly, which it was! If you want you can have a room with en suite but we shared a bathroom which was fine as Theresa washbasin in room.

We stayed here five years ago and decided immediately that we would return. We were not disappointed. The room was very clean and we had great help with a taxi problem from the owners. You can see my full review on Booking.com under Charles from the USA. The facility itself has slipped a little since we were last there. We would have loved to sit in the courtyard on a bench, but one was overgrown with bushes and the other one had a broken seat board. It is a lovely place in a location we love and it is super quiet. It just feels a little tired out, like it could use some updating and refurbishing. No A/C and still a lovely visit. We would return again when in Granada.

Pensionaatti on sievä, vanha mutta siisti. Maisemat vuorille ovat upeat aamiaishuoneesta. Rouva valmisti ja tarjoili hyvän aamiaisen. BB is really very nice place to stay in Granada. The scenery are beautiful around to mountain from dining room. The houstiss made delicous breakfast.

We had two good nights in the Suecia. While it is a ten minute walk from the very centre of the city, it is close enough to walk, and great for the El Realejo district with great bars and restaurants. Comfortable but small room, spotlessly clean shared bathroom and very quiet at night. Very good breakfast up on the roof for 4€, slow and leisurely, rather like the whole place really. Would suit quiet types (like us) rather than party animals! Would probably stay again.

I'm not sure if I stayed at the same place as some of the reviews I've read. Reception was not manned on arrival, needed to summon attendance via an intercom. Once checked in (friendly enough and provided with a map) we were shown to our rooms. No towels, no toilet roll holder, though towels were produced upon second reminder. The second floor roof terrace is accessed through owners (?) sitting room as is the breakfast room which was rather disconcerting and didn't venture there again. Not sure the views were as claimed either. Though a great building, the pension lacked ambiance.

Felt the whole building needs a massive spring clean inside and out, weeds in the crevices, dust on the rads in the guest tv room, take a look behind the drapes. It felt sadly neglected and scruffy and in need of some TLC and the hosts could have put in more of an appearance. I'm sure there is a cat living in one of the rooms off the tv lounge, on the first night we thought a baby was in the room......

On the positive side, room was clean, warm and the bed comfortable - the best on our week long tour of Andalucia. Beware of some of the local restaurants, recommend Casa Luthier for tapas, don't buy a bottle of wine, just a drink and you receive a tapas for each one!
