Great to be there at sunset looking across at the magnificent Alhambra - but there sure are an awful lot of other people doing the selfsame thing ... even in mid-October.

Getting to the top might be a bit hard, but we were very happy to see all buzz on the top of hill and a wonderful view of Alhambra.
There is a place selling smoothies for 3 euros, in case you had enough tapas.
Be friendly and asking a passing-by to take a picture of you with Alhambra on the background.

You can get here by bus if your feet can't tolerate the rocky pavement and your lungs can't take the steep uphill climb. Either way, be sure to do this for the view of the Alhambra from across the valley. Then have a fruit juice or ice cream at a sidewalk stand and prepare to tread back down hill.

Getting to this mirador involves a pleasant twisty hike. Wear comfortable shoes as most of the streets are cobblestoned. Once at the mirador, which is a large plaza you can sit on a wall and enjoy the scenery. There are restaurants right off this plaza.

Nothing better than a well spent moment enjoying a glass of wine at the fabulous Bar Kiki whilst the rest of the family battle it out for a prime photo spot in front of the Alhambra from the Mirador...it's only a few paces away, they can give you a shout when they're ready :-)
