“Worth a 5 minute visit”
Reviewed July 5, 2013 via mobile

The baths are up the path on the Darro 10 minutes from the main plaza. Free admission and most importantly a great place to cool off away from he heat.
The building itself is completely empty but restored nicely. You don't need to make an extra trip to see the baths but if you are in the area you will enjoy it.

“Nice 15 minute visit near plaza Nueva”
Reviewed June 19, 2013 via mobile

Very humble preservation of an Arab bath house. Free admission and information panels providing all you could need about the place. There isn't much left of the baths themselves. Only the foundations.

TIPS:
- It is only open from 10am to 2pm
- Very close to the plaza Nueva
- Good quick visit while you are waiting for your Segway tour to start nearby.

“Good value for money - it's free!”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

These arab baths are fairly hard to spot, but are located just up from Plaza Nueva on the Carrera del Darro. We've walked along on several occasions without seeing them.
There is a ticket office with a man who asks where you are from and then tells you admission is free. I'm not sure if there is no charge for all nationalities or just for EU members.
The baths date from around the 10th century AD and are surprisingly well preserved. However, there is not a great deal to see and it doesn't take long to look at the differnt areas and read the information cards. A pleasant enough attraction but not much wow factor for the average tourist

“Expected more”
Reviewed January 29, 2013 via mobile

It consists of a few rooms without any decoration or objects, very simple looking. I read all the information panels but still did not have a good idea on how the baths functioned. Luckily there was a group passing by and their tour guide shed some light on the mechanisms for providing and distributing water and such. That's the only thing that made my visit worthwhile. If you really want to see this place, come with a good guide.

“very well preserved building”
Reviewed August 8, 2012

It´s a small building, easy to miss, but once inside, it's unbelievable. The columns, wall, everything in perfect condition. Don´t miss it, it's free!!!
