“This Spanish Dakota will welcome you.”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

With more beers than humanly consumable, a range of freshly grilled burgers (halal beef / veggie / vegan) and seasonal desserts (apple or pumpkin pie when it's cold outside), Dakota brings the joy back to the old-school burger joints. Bring a buddy or a book, sip your brew and order a Mohandas Karamchand if you're a little over the cattle (though the beef ain't bad here either). The talented cast and crew of Dakota will deliver, at their own pace - and most of the time it's worth the wait. All that's missing is waitresses in roller skates, curly fries and a juke box blaring Elvis.

“Taste of home and great staff”
Reviewed June 2, 2012

i was missing burgers until i found this place on TA, great decor with a homey feel. the burgers were amazing, no pork just beef, and home made burger buns. My friend had a salad which looked great too. . There were no waiters so it was a bit confusing at first. You have to order at the bar for your food. There is a sign but it needs to be bigger. Great value and home cooked fries.

There are about 200 beers here from all over the world micro breweries too although no American beers! >The staff said the good US beers like sierra Nevada were difficult to find here. Careful on those Belgian beers, i left here a lot lighter on my feet and later than i expected.

“Overcooked burgers, slow service”
Reviewed May 30, 2012

We used to like this place because we thought it was a reasonable price for a good burger, and a nice break from Spanish food. However, after eating there four times, we realized that it was nothing special. The burgers are almost always overcooked so they're never juicy, they take about 30-40 minutes to come when no one else is in the restaurant(a burger should take 15 minutes tops), and the waiter is always disinterested. He even gives out the wrong change almost every time, and is always "en la luna." Dekota may seem better to everyone since every other burger in Spain is part pork, part beef, but it's really not a good option. Stay away if you can.

“Great new bar”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

We popped into Dakota on a Sunday afternoon after hearing good things about it. We were not disappointed. Great selection of beers, excellent cider and good tapas too! Can't ask for much more really. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable (if you don't know the city and surrounding areas). We'd definitely go back and will hopefully try the burgers next time.

“Wonderful, a bit rustic, but charming and a fantastic burger.”
Reviewed May 28, 2012 via mobile

We went to the Alhambra and our ticket was for 2 o'clock so needed to stop somewhere for lunch. Found the Dakota on tripadvisor and it looked good. We parked up at the Alhambra and got our tickets and then jumped in a taxi down to Dakota, only €4.75 on a Sunday, worth spending that to have a fantastic burger and fries. Had the Chipoli and it was fantastic, not too spicy, but just right. The burger bun was excellent.

They have a fantastic range of international bottled beer and about 6 on draught. We just had Spanish beer on draught which was excellent.

I hear that they may be some home brew in the future! Think we will be back soon!
