I have mixed feeling when it comes to reviewing this.

The location is not so great and the food served in the hotel as well.

Horrible restaurant they have. Food is terrible.

Internet is free. The rooms are spacious and very clean.

Good for family and elderly people. Not a great place for Busines travelers.

Only tourists with bus access can stay here since this location is very remote.

I really enjoyed my 40th birthday here. After the hot heady days of June, and after trekking up the hill at the back of the hotel to the Alhambra General Life, it was well worth having paid the extra money for the wonderful pool.

It deos shut a bit early though and as it is light at the 21st June, I do think staff could be much more flexible on keeping it open longer as people wanted to go in.

I din't eat at the hotel and didn't like the look of the food and dining area whcih was underground. But the local food nearby is great.

I was accidentally putinto the matrimonial suite ont eh top floor. It had its own jacuzzi and a bed big enough for 3! with 2 further massive canopies to sleep on. I loved it1
Would definitely go back!!

PS was there in 2010...

Room Tip: Ask for one away from the road.

I stood at this hotel for 3 nights in May 2012. It was the worst hotel experience ever. The front desk staff is unfriendly and always with a bad face. The decor is awful. The room looked like a hostel room of the 2nd world war. The air conditioning did not work. The breakfast was very bad. Extremely expensive for a 4-star hotel that was what he deserved no more than 2 stars. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Terrible experience.

Room Tip: Do not go to this hotel.

Stayed here for one night as part of a tour package. About a 15 min walk from the city centre in a quiet neighbourhood. Food was pretty good and had a pool and spa facilities.

Good points:
Not far from the Alhambra by local buses. The bus stop is within walking distance at the back of the hotel, uphill The straight bus line is also very handy on the way back from Granada city centre ( bus stop at the cathedral).
Not far from the city centre on foot, downhill ( about 10-minute easy walk).
Nice helpful welcoming people at the hotel desk.
Breakfast: average
Bad points:
Deco at the hotel entrance didn't exactly match the bedroom we had. Very old room for a four star hotel: Old fashion and hasty renovation to have it look proper. Difficult to find plugs to charge batteries: you had to unplug the TV set to do so or use the one in the bathroom. Antiquated TV set , old cupboards, old wallpaper when existing, and hastily renovated bathroom. Beds: just o.k.
The car-park costs 17 euros a night. Better find a place on the streets . No easy parking places in Granada but possible with time and patience. It is worth it for two or three nights to save quite a lot of euros.
