Description: In our little but cozy space we offer a wide range of wines by the glass, artisan beers, and different dishes starred by our raw materials. Because of our reduced dimensions, it is even more worthy of merit all that we offer in our eatery. We start with breakfasts (don't miss them!) At 10:00 and until 23:30 you can order any dish from our menu. Everything is cut and cooked on order (cheeses, ham, vegetales and fruits), we work with the same ingredients that our Shop provides us, enjoy your stay in our home and let us take care of you by our staff. Our summer opening times are: 10:00-16:00 19:00-0:00 The rest of the year, our opening times are: 9:00 - 0:00

This was such a great place. I went there not knowing what I was in for but the wine and tapas were far superior to any place in Granada. Relaxed ambiance, friendly, pretty hostesses and such original, high quality dishes. I recommend it to anyone in Granada.

Based entirely on trip advisors reviews we visited this restaurant which may well be a better shop than it is a restaurant.
The ingredients may be well sourced, and the wine selection excellent but as a restaurant it is a real disappointment.
Don't book for a special night out. This simply cannot be the third best restaurant in Granada.
The pleasant waitress struggled with the three people present and managed to make a mistake with both our wine order and our single food order and the guy behind the counter was not great at eye contact although he appeared to be in charge.
The decor is grunge and the tables and chairs are,at best, functional ( well actually my chair was broken).
The ambience is hippy vegan, the service is dilatory and the the one course of verduras con queso y Miele ( media racion ) was ok but was not freshly cooked.
The wine it must be restated was delicious.
We exited disappointed and headed for our favourite authentic Castanedo.

WINE, OLIVE OIL AND BEER could be classified as "The Mediterranean Trilogy" of the Spanish diet and should you wish to aquire it in its purest, most natural form, look no further than the enticing products that adorn the shelves of this small delicatessen shop. It does have two rectangular tables with stools and a couple of large barrels upon which you can lay your plate of delicacies and drinks. They even have a menu and of course an appreciable wine list. The selection of cheeses and meats are outstanding and the organic wines, some of which are 14% vol. are really worth tasting. Rebecca, who served me, was most amiable and helpful. I thoroughly recommend visiting Al Sur de Granada for a different but worthwhile gastronomic adventure.

We found this place through TripAdvisor and tried it out. It was great. All local products and an owner that wanted to talk with us about the things she had in the market/cafe and how she chose them. We went back twice in two days and wished we had this place in our own neighborhood at home. Great for gifts--olive oil, wine, spirits, jams, etc., and even better, come to eat and get fantastic hot and cold tapas that are much more interesting than what you'll find elsewhere. Great ambience.
