Description: In our little but cozy space we offer a wide range of wines by the glass, artisan beers, and different dishes starred by our raw materials. Because of our reduced dimensions, it is even more worthy of merit all that we offer in our eatery. We start with breakfasts (don't miss them!) At 10:00 and until 23:30 you can order any dish from our menu. Everything is cut and cooked on order (cheeses, ham, vegetales and fruits), we work with the same ingredients that our Shop provides us, enjoy your stay in our home and let us take care of you by our staff. Our summer opening times are: 10:00-16:00 19:00-0:00 The rest of the year, our opening times are: 9:00 - 0:00

Went here every day during trip heartily recommended, wonderful local produce including craft beer from granada. Prices are appropriate for what they sell.

We looked at the TA reviews for this place and thought that it was more of a lunch cafe but we went down there in the evening and got drawn in. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our holiday.

The experience is one of being sat round a barrel in a deli and being served the most delicious plates of food and glasses of wine you could imagine, all with expert advise from the staff. Everything is organic and what we had was excellent, all for 40 Euros for the two of us. There is a big selection of wine by the glass. I would love to go back and sample some of the more pricy wines that are on offer. Seating is very limited so don't leave it too late in the evening.

We love Al Sur de Granada. Over the summer we spent 3 weeks in Spain and we would go every day to eat there. Al the food is local and organic plus the service is great. I highly recommend their breakfast and wine. Its a great place to have tapas too. If you are interested in having an authentic Spanish experience not found in tourist book, this is the place :)

We just loved the day we happened upon this hidden treasure in a quiet section of town. The owner, Alba, was so hospitable by explaining things to us and recommending wine, cheese and charcuterie. I only wish we had a place like this in LA!

This is place is simply magic - a real taste of Spain where the food is prepared without fuss, straightforwardly and is absolutely bursting with flavour. Whist the venue is not a restaurant per se, the several beer barrel tables and stalls dotted about, in what is in effect a delicatessen, makes for a delightful lunchtime venue that's further chilled by the background music. The couple of staff serving were also really helpful and fun. It's at the far end of Calle Elvira from Alhambra but its well worth jumping in a cab to visit before or after your trip to the Alhambra (or its probably a 15-20min walk from Plaza Nueva by the Albaicin). At the very least you'll leave feeling completely uplifted and doubtless with some of the many goods that can be bought; wines, hams, pictures(!). One of the best finds during our two weeks in Andalusia.
