Very helpful staff. Had booked direct and asked for nice view, got rooms on 7th floor with small balcony and fab views of Alhambra and Sierra Nevadas, great size rooms( had been offered superior rooms on the phone, great option). Good breakfast, everything kept topped up. Didnt use the restaurant and the bar closed at midnight - early for Spain!! Rooms were kept spotless, would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Superior rooms are larger and have great view, didnt get disturbed even though on main road.

Great location opposite El Corte Ingles for shopping. Room clean and presentable. Staff were good. Breakfast had a good variety and buffet dinner was good. Would stay again. Good little bars around the area for meals/tapas and at reasonable prices.

I got the oppurtunity to stay in Hotel Carmen during my business trip to Granada. This is a 4star property however the rooms and the services does not justify the star rating. A warm and brightly lit reception welcomes you as soon as you enter the hotel

My initial room did not have a balcony and was not very nicely lit and hence was I requested for a change, which apparanelty was given to me next day.

Pros
Room Service
Food
Friendly Staff
Cleaniliness
Location

Cons
Limited english speaking TV channels
Sleep Quality
Hotel parking is very crunched and not suitable for big vehicles

Room Tip: Opt for rooms which are well lit and have balconies. Else it becomes claustrophobic.

Stayed here with my hubby and friends during the holidays. This hotel is super clean and the location is superb for exploring the city. Corte ingles is right across and many charming cafés and restaurants in the area. The only negative no parking on site at all and it's on a busy street so loading unloading is a bit hectic. Overall a good place to stay.

Stayed here for a week with 30 other people for a wedding. The hotel staff were friendly from the start. Rooms were clean, average size, complete with basic amenities including safe.
Venture out of the hotel for meals as the food is way better & much cheaper.

I would stay there again....

Room Tip: Ask to be facing the main street & away from the elevator.....

Breakfast was disappointing based on very limited range of food and head waiter was extremely miserable! Hairdryer was not working in our room and adjoining room (712) smelt slightly damp! The positives are it's superb location and a very helpful concierge who parked our car in the hotel's car park.

Comfortable, well appointed hotel in excellent central city location. Very good buffet breakfast having wide choice, but evening meal disappointing for a '4 star' hotel. Again buffet style poor quality and temperature just tepid.
Our Premier room on the 7th floor was spacious and quite comfortable. Could be improved by provision of second arm chair (only one between two of us) and provision of tea and coffee making facilities would have made our 4 night stay much more comfortable.

Room Tip: Choose a premier room with city view and balcony.
