Hotel Comfort Dauro 2
Ranked #23 of 122 Hotels in Granada

I stayed at the hotel just for one night on a Saturday. As other reviews say hotel is a bit hard to find on arrival, but location is overall good. It is the old town on one of the main restaurant and bars street very popular with hen and stag parties and local young people.
Decor is slightly dated (1992ish) but rooms are nice and spacious with partial views of the Alhambre if you are facing the pedestrian street (Navas).
Bathroom was spacious too with a slightly bizarre shower that cannot be adjusted.
Bar / Restaurant is nothing special with poor, slow service and there are lots of better options on the same street.
Breakfast was OK with decent choice and standard quality, but it was served in a room with glaring neon lights and house music at full volume - not my ideal start of the day.
And the very small lift does no reach the top floor.
Hotel is fine for a short stay and as a base to visit the city and staff is helpful is not exactly friendly

Room Tip: High floor facing Navas for the view

Dear Customer.
We welcome your comments as they help us to improve our hotel.
We note on the music at breakfast, restaurant and shower. The music is ambient and plays automatically. The volume can go up without notice. I am sorry that we could not reach a five star service.

I enjoyed my stay at Dauro II very much. The room was large enough for a single. The bathroom was huge and very well equipped. Breakfast is really worth it though I am not totally in favour of buffet breakfast. Very good location in the centre of Granada and the staff was really helpful. Easy reach to all the areas of interest and to the bus to the Alahambra. Excellent restaurants in the hotel area. the hotel offers good wifi connection but the internet in the computer in the hall is rather slow. Be prepared to walk a short distance ( 20 meters) from taxi as the hotel is on a pedestrian street. I loved the place and the city and would like to go back.

Perfectly situated hotel in the center of Granada. Perfect for strolls around the town with lots of interesting buildings and good restaurants close to the hotel. The hotel offers good standards in all respects - rooms, service and breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nice Hotel in the old part of Granada. Excelent rooms, very clean and bright. Arriving by train and taking a taxi is the best way - Taxi is cheap only around 10 - 12 Euro incl. tip. You have to walk the last 50 meters, becaue the car is not allowd to go in the street Navas - but it does no matter.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with Balcony or terasse on 4th floor, that are the best of them with a fantastic wiev...

If you are looking to visit Granada you have 2 options - stay at the Alahambra Palace which is stones throw from the Alahambra, but not close to the center of the city or staying at the city center. My option would always be at the center as it affords more options for restaurants. Buses constantly take you to the Alahambra so, thats not an issue.

Having said that - traveling with a baby we wanted a good amount of comfort at an affordable rate. BW fits the bill. Nestled in an alley near a square - its rooms are well appointed. The staff is very friendly as well. Right outside the hotel in the street are several options for dining as well.

Very nice, city hotel in historic center of Granada. The hotel is difficult to find, sandwiched between a narrow alley and pedestrianized street in the middle of an old city. Get very specific instructions on where to park when you check in. The only parking is valet for €16 per day, and the car park is some distance is some distance so allow 30 to 60 minutes to retrieve the car. with that said the hotel is charming, great location, friendly staff, nice breakfast.

Room Tip: The hotel was renovated circa 2008, all of the rooms are similar

The hotel is located in the city centre of Granada. There are plenty of small restaurants serving tapas just on the same street where the hotel is located. I stayed in a double room on the second floor. The room was very clean with a flat TV and free Wi-Fi. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good but rather expensive (9€). I would definitely stay again in this hotel.
