A modern room with all comforts- good beds, spacious bathroom, small refrigerator, air conditioning, small balcony. All in a modern boutique hotel in the old town- best of both worlds.
Location was excellent- short uphill walk to the Alhambra, or take the bus which stops near the hotel. There is also a bookshop a few doors down, where you can buy or print your Alhambra tickets without queuing. Good range of restaurants, right in the old town.
There is street noise, but we closed the French doors at night and used the air- con. The double glazing blocked all outside noise.

This hotel is very modern and stylish. The staff could not have been better, happily making suggestions and giving advice always with a friendly smile. The rooms were minimalist but very comfortably furnished. Luxurious en suite and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal, ( use the hotel restaurant exit for the local minibus 5mins to the Alhambra). The Albayzin area was a few minutes walk away. Also, the cathedral area with its shops, squares and restaurants was nearby. The only thing which we were disappointed in was the included breakfast, toast, orange juice and coffee. Normally a continental includes self service items inc cheese, cold meats, breads, cereal etc. but these were all at a supplement. However that wouldn't prevent us returning. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Our room was top floor at rear. Suspect rooms facing out over restaurant might be noisier as there is a lively square there.

After finding the hotel al last, it was in a great location. Right in the centre of Grenada and close to everything. Underground parking was a bonus, although expensive but worth it. Room was modern, clean and had a small balcony which just overlooked other flats in a narrow street. BUT you are in the city. we did not have breakfast in hotel but those that did said it was poor. Staff on the desk were great but staff in the cafe/restaurant we found were quite rude. Very modern hotel and just round the corner from the Alhambra.

Room Tip: If driving using Satnav type in the street approaching the Hotel which is Calle Elvira. This is a one way street which you follow to the end. You then go over a junction into a dead end road and turn right. Do not type in Hotel name as our Satnav took us to another part of Grenada a couple of miles from Hotel. For breakfast or a hot drink just use the cafe at the rear of the Hotel.

We stayed here for two nights and were very impressed. The room and bathroom was spacious and clean and the people at the reception were very kind. The hotel continental breakfast was a little basic but sufficient. Close to the Alhambra and shops/restaurants, it is quite well located.
Some reviewers may say that the hotel is hard to find, but if you simply search the address in Google maps before arriving, or look for the large Monjas del Carmen sign in advance of Plaza Cuchilleros if on foot, you'll have no issues.

We stayed for a week while visiting our daughter in Granada. This hotel is in a great location and was perfect for our visit. The room was very clean and overlooked the restaurant entrance and bar, which was very popular with locals and tourists alike. We used the bar most nights for a drink and enjoyed the tapas before venturing out and about in the town. We would defiantly return to this hotel and would recommend it to friends should they be lucky enough to be visiting Granada. Thank you to Hotel Monjas Del Carmen for a nice stay.
