This hotel is very modern and stylish. The staff could not have been better, happily making suggestions and giving advice always with a friendly smile. The rooms were minimalist but very comfortably furnished. Luxurious en suite and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal, ( use the hotel restaurant exit for the local minibus 5mins to the Alhambra). The Albayzin area was a few minutes walk away. Also, the cathedral area with its shops, squares and restaurants was nearby. The only thing which we were disappointed in was the included breakfast, toast, orange juice and coffee. Normally a continental includes self service items inc cheese, cold meats, breads, cereal etc. but these were all at a supplement. However that wouldn't prevent us returning. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Our room was top floor at rear. Suspect rooms facing out over restaurant might be noisier as there i...

After finding the hotel al last, it was in a great location. Right in the centre of Grenada and close to everything. Underground parking was a bonus, although expensive but worth it. Room was modern, clean and had a small balcony which just overlooked other flats in a narrow street. BUT you are in the city. we did not have breakfast in hotel but those that did said it was poor. Staff on the desk were great but staff in the cafe/restaurant we found were quite rude. Very modern hotel and just round the corner from the Alhambra.

Room Tip: If driving using Satnav type in the street approaching the Hotel which is Calle Elvira. This is a on...

We stayed here for two nights and were very impressed. The room and bathroom was spacious and clean and the people at the reception were very kind. The hotel continental breakfast was a little basic but sufficient. Close to the Alhambra and shops/restaurants, it is quite well located.
Some reviewers may say that the hotel is hard to find, but if you simply search the address in Google maps before arriving, or look for the large Monjas del Carmen sign in advance of Plaza Cuchilleros if on foot, you'll have no issues.

We stayed for a week while visiting our daughter in Granada. This hotel is in a great location and was perfect for our visit. The room was very clean and overlooked the restaurant entrance and bar, which was very popular with locals and tourists alike. We used the bar most nights for a drink and enjoyed the tapas before venturing out and about in the town. We would defiantly return to this hotel and would recommend it to friends should they be lucky enough to be visiting Granada. Thank you to Hotel Monjas Del Carmen for a nice stay.

This hotel was a very easy walk from the airport bus stop. It was clean and comfortable and quiet at night. We felt we were able to walk and get around easily from this location. We even walked with suitcases to the train station w/o any problem(20 minutes).
Great value for the €!

This hotel has a great location near Plaza Nueva. Easy to walk to Albazayin and the Alhambra. We stayed at 5 different hotels in various places during our 3 week stay in Spain. This property was the winner when it came to the best value for your money. The rooms are clean and a little bigger than most rooms we stayed at (still small by North American standards), beds are comfortable. Seems to have been renovated perhaps recently. We stayed on the side of the hotel facing the small, lightly travelled pedestrian street below...so no issues with noise at all.

It rained a bit while we were there, but the hotel had complimentary umbrellas which was a nice touch. Lots of restaurants nearby. The hotels has its own restaurant as well. We didn't eat there, but it seemed very busy each night we were there (with locals and tourists).

This hotel, while very difficult to find with a GPS or with a street map, has a great location in the middle of a great shopping and restaurant district, and just a walk away from the Alhambra. ***Please be sure to book your access to the Alhambra's Nasrid Palace, otherwise you will not be allowed in.

The hotel was small, but well kept, clean and modern. I would stay there again, barring the challenge in actually finding the place AND parking the car in the super tight garage.

Room Tip: We had a room that backed onto the street with a bar/resto across from it. A bit loud, but a great...

Dear Speeken, first of all, we would like to thank your your comments.

As you mentioned, we are right in the city centre of Granada and between Albayzin, Cathedral, Realejo and Alhambra. Therefore I strongly recommend you all, to follow the instructions we have in our website of "HOW TO GET TO HOTEL MONJAS DEL CARMEN" you will avoid loosing yourself in Granada or be fined by the local police, because we are located in a restricted area.

Regarding the rate of our parking, we offer a lower rate to our clients than Mercado de San Agustin parking which is 500 meters away.

We hope to see you again.

Best regards
