Our guide book recommended going her for a drink before continuing to walk down back into Granada from the Alhambra. It’s very easy to find, about 10mins walk down from where the taxis drop you off for the Alhambra. We got there about 12.30pm having been up in the Alhambra from about 9am and it was completely empty. It has a lovely old fashioned balcony that overlooks the city (not the Alhambra) but makes for a nice change having spent the whole morning looking at the palace. A lovely place to relax before the relatively short but quiet steep descent back into Granada.

We spent two lovely nights at this spectacular hotel! We had a balcony with a beautiful view of the town and the mountains. Service was great, loved the terrace for snacks, room was well appointed. Best thing of course, is the location of the hotel, a short walk to the Alhambra and also a short walk from the town. Best spot for exploring the Alhambra, and still not a bad walk down into town. I have reservations to come back again!

Room Tip: We had a lovely balcony looking over the town of Granada.

We highly recommend this beautiful hotel. The hotel is situated only a few hundred meters from Moorish Alhambra castle/Palace.

Everything about this hotel is high quality – the staff, the food, the rooms and the beautiful interior. Like us you probably will enjoy the outdoor terrace with panoramic view over city of Granada.

We’ll be back – soon!

Only 5 minutes walking from Granada's main attarction - Alhambra Palaces and Gardens.
The view is simply amazing as the hotel is located in the Alhambra hill over Granada and sorroundings. You can also admire Sierra Nevada getting golden at sunset. Really a must. Also the breakfast is superb and really worth the price you pay for it.

Room Tip: Make su you get a room with view to Granada.

A beautiful hotel where you will feel special from the moment you arrive at the hotel and you hand your car keys to the friendly staff to park your car... who cares where!!!
The view from the hotel bar and (city facing) bedrooms is breath-taking ... you can relax overlooking the snow fields of the Sierra Nevada and have a birds eye view of the whole city. The interior of the hotel is also exceptional with strong Moorish influences.
Stay here at Easter weekend when the religious procession finishes on the hill around the back of the hotel. This is something that you should experience... once in your life.
The famous Alhambra Palace is a short and beautiful walk from the hotel entrance and due to the hotel elevation the walk is very pleasant in even in the heat. The main city centre is also only a 10-15 minute walk which you can do via the Alhambra or take a more direct route straight down hill.
The hotel is on the top of the hill so be aware if you are not very mobile as you may need to taxi home. If you are even relatively fit then the walk will not be difficult at all and you should be able to walk home within 15 minutes from the town centre.
There are some great flamenco bars in town but make sure you book in advance. Also you should try to book the Alhambra Palace visit on line before you leave as it was fully booked when we visited... but it was Easter.
If you are feeling adventurous then one of the best views of the Alhambra Palace is after dark from the Mirador Plaza St. Nicholas. It may be a bit of a mission finding it but it is well worth the visit during the day and especially after dark. We didn't experience any crime but you should be aware if you are walking in this area at night and keep your camera and bags close to you.

Room Tip: Try to get a corner room facing as you will get a big room with dual aspect views. The best side of...

The hotel is a little tired but is okay. The views from the terrace over the city are superb. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the Alhambra, which is useful for an early morning start to miss the crowds. It is a climb back to the hotel from the city but the bus only costs €1.20 if you don't fancy the walk.
