“A Scenic and Romantic Location”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

On our last night in Granada we had dinner with a grand view of the illuminated Alhambra Palace. Staff was friendly and helpful and we were seated with a commanding view. Service was prompt and the food well prepared. We had the Hamas con Jamon and the beans were exceptionally well prepared and seasoned. The ham was terrific but, after all, we are in Spain. We had lamb chops and beef (Ox, actually) and ended with a terrific chocolate truffles.

“A Truly Wonderful Dining Experience”
Reviewed May 23, 2014

We chose this restaurante based on three factors: great reviews on TA, walking distance from our hotel Santa Isabel and stunning view at dusk of The Alhambra after we visited it in late afternoon. We were not disappointed. In addition, the dishes ( salmon, cod) were as good as any of the other fine restos we tried in our 19-day trek in Spain (Can Majo and Montiel in Barcelona, Aire Gastrobar and Guadaloupe's Le Parador in Malaga, El Mentidero and Botin in Madrid). The service was very good and the owner was even extremely attentive to my wife's special needs in managing the few stairs. A must in Granada.

“Priceless View, Wonderful Food”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

Friends recommended this restaurant in the Albayzin, just below the viewpoint at San Nicholas. The view of the Alhambra in the dusk was fabulous and made for a perfect romantic dinner. I saw a recent review citing the food as mediocre but we had a delicious dinner of mozzarella/tomato salad, salmorejo, cod with prawn and grilled lamb chops. Service was expert and not rushed. It was one of the best meals we had and certainly the restaurant with the best view of our 14 day trip through Andalusia.

“What a lovely spot!”
Reviewed May 1, 2014

The location of this restaurant can't be beat! Get there before sunset to enjoy the spectacular view of the Alhambra from the outdoor garden. I always love a restaurant that gives extras; here, a delicious and beautifully presented melon soup. The food was very finely prepared and delicious. Highly recommend!

“The view is better than the food”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

Compared to restaurants towards the centre of town this is expensive and the food is mediocre. It's not bad, just not good. The service is OK but on the day that we went there were only two tables occupied. The wine is expensive too. What you are really paying for is a stunning view of the Alhambra. Don't try and find this on foot, better to take a taxi or you will get lost in the maze of the Albaicin. There are many other similar restaurants nearby.
