“La cueva”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2012

We had just arrived in granada and wanted to eat something fast, we came across this restaurant because of the location. the restaurant is situated in the most important street of granada.

the salad and tapas where delicious and the restaurant is very cozy! Its an ideal place for something basic like a salad or tapas, they have a wide range of hams.

“Top tapas and more in Granada”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012

Go there to eat tapas and have a drink or two. I recommend fresh Orange salad with Bacalhau (codfish). The atmosphere is very authentic. You will get good food for a good price.

“Pork lovers must visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2012 via mobile

Let's get the bad stuff out of the way: our waitress was unbelievably unfriendly. Now the good: the place looks inviting (I at least loved the dozens of jamons hanging from the ceiling). My husband and I arrived at lunchtime, got some gratis tasty bites with our drinks. Then ordered 1 portion of mushroom-ham omlette to share, and although the waitress said it will be too small for two, it was actually plenty (so were the neighbours' portions by their looks). By 2pm the place got really busy (remember the central location), so we practically got chucked out, but didn't mind it, the dining experience was still worth the visit.

“Good food for your money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2012

As many places are close in the afternoon, the front desk of the hotel recommended us this restaurant. We had a couple of beers and a plate of ham cuts. Very delicious tasty and not expensive. I may not go there for an evening dinner, but for lunch is really nice, with good food and prices. Definitely recommend.

“Attempting to get away from tapas”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2012

After several days in Spain, I don't want tapas anymore. It's not that they are bad, I just want/need something else now. This place fit perfectly. It has a pretty large dining room and you can sit wherever you want. I had a chicken dish that was served with fried potatoes and a cheesy cream sauce that was delicious. Definitely would eat here again. Service was a bit gruff but I have come to expect that in Europe.
