“a divine combination of food and view”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

ok, our travel agent arranged for us to have the best table, but there are many. this is a completely uninterrupted view of the Alhambra. we started just after 900 pm. the sun was setting and the view started at the snow capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada and came to the Alhambra. then as it got dark the whole complex was lit. we shared a salmon carpaccio then Susan had the fillet of bass with a tagliatelle . I had the slow cooked " bulls tail" in a red wine sauce. these were just great dishes. the salmon carpaccio was a little bland, I think it had been too chilled ie frozen. we finished with a share plate of local cheeses. the blue and the goats were excellent. the white wine list was a bit limited so we had a coda fax Albariño. but I had the house rijoja with my ox tail. if you want a really romantic, out of this world evening, go here and get the front middle table for two..

“The Food Didn't Have to Be as Good as it Was”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

This restaurant has a breathtaking view of the Alhambra. It could have served soggy fish and chips and we would have been happy. However, it had a very sophisticated menu (wildebeest carpaccio, anyone?) and delivered on it. The food was excellent and presented with very high style. To top it all off, a classical guitar player played Recuerdos de Alhambra while we dined.

“Best meal on our trip to Granada”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

Fantastic meal with stunning views - this restaurant is situated up a hill overlooking Alhambra and we booked following our hotel's recommendation (Casa 1800 which we also highly recommend).

We were a little concerned that we maybe paying for the view rather than the food - how wrong we were! Food was excellent: wildebeest carpaccio to start, followed by sea bass. The views add to the ambience.

Service was professional with the right mix of friendliness and professionalism. Live classical guitar is also a nice touch. More expensive than the other meals but would highly recommend - you won't be disappointed. Book ahead to secure a table at the front for the best views although all tables offered views of Alhambra.

“Would recommend”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

Visited in June during a trip to Granada, we were seated at a table on the terrace with fabulous view of the Alhambra and the sunset - quite romantic too with a singer and his guitar sitting quite near but performed very quietly! Husband had the largest scallops which were delicious, I had the duck salad to start, intersting flavours, both had the steak with fois gras as main and was delicious. We shared the degustation pudding which was varied and very good. Service was attentive without being obtrusive, very friendly relaxed atmosphere, reasonably priced. Would recommend and also definitely go back next time we are in Granada

“Amazing dinner with a fantastic view”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

We recently had the opportunity to have dinner here and watch the sunset over the Alhambra. Not only is the view breathtaking, but the food was absolutely amazing. I had the fixed price menu and started with the gazpacho (which had smoked salmon and a hard boiled egg at the bottom - good and unique!), had the mushroom risotto for dinner (I would highly recommend it - the best risotto I have ever had) and the crepes for dessert. The crepes were okay, although my husband got the crème brûlée which was amazing! He had the Oxtail for dinner - which wasn't his favorite meal but that's because it was something different and he thinks it was very well prepared.

We would both recommend this place to people visiting Granada. The area around the restaurant is beautiful and it was a cheap cab ride up. I would recommend making reservations if you can (although we did not have any and got in just after 8) and coming early to walk around the area.
