We weren't looking for this place, thought we'd give it a try and man were we rewarded! The food was delicious and free with our drinks, which were also delicious and cheap. The best part was the lady working, who owns the place with her husband, she was so nice to us and talked to us about different things and gave us a free shot at the end of the night! We enjoyed it so much we went back a few nights later and we all hugged and kissed goodbye! Gotta love Granada!!

“A treat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2012

We greatly enjoyed our meal. It is owned and operated by a married Spaniard and Brit. The señora is a gem and she treated us like friends. I am not a hugger but I hugged the señora when we left.
The food was very tasty. Guacamole and salsa are made in house. As to negatives, you could criticize the loud American music but we didn't mind. Service also was slow because the señora was by herself.

“Big Mexican in town!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2012

I visited my girlfriend who was on placement in Granada in late May through to June and this place was amazing! The food is to die for; full of flavour and in a healthy potion. Most of the staff spoke very good English. A really friendly atmosphere and would advise anyone visiting this city to dine out there. 10/10

“Good, but not great”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2012

We dropped in here on the strength of other TA reviews and also because it was within easy walking distance of our hotel. We also fancied something that wasn't tapas (dreadful, I know).

The menu was entirely predictable, but none the worse for that. There's a comfortable familiarity in Mexican restaurants the world over and this was no exception. The portions were good sizes and the cocktails were also good value. There seems to be a menu del dia offer, but we weren't there early enough to take advantage of it.

The service was friendly, although with limited English and Spanish on offer, having a menu that you recognise from home is handy. So, it's good value, but doesn't offer anything different than you might get at any Mexican restaurant. Glad we went though as a break from tapas

“A pearl to discover”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2012

During our short trip to Granada we found this little restaurant very close to the hotel (thanks to Tripadvisor). We went there and had a great meal in a pleasant atmosphere, typical Mexican (at least I believe so, have never been to Mexico). The service was better and more friendly than most restaurants I've ever visited and we felt almost royal. Very nice food at a good price, excellent wine even though beer is probably the most commonly served beverage. In short, a great experience not to be missed in the heart of Granada. We'll definitely go back if we have the chance.
