Description: Albertapas is running succesfully the business since 2008. Awarded chef Alberto with his daughter Naiara and his wife Begoña are always supervising the quality of food and service along with the whole staff. In this family owned restaurant you will be delighted by the typical spanish context and natural genuine food. Special care is dedicated every day to make customers feeling at ease, surrounding them with a friendly and warm atmosphere. The cuisine is home made and genuine, proposing to guests a fusion between traditional spanish cuisine and innovation. Special and very famous are "Gambas al ajillo", prawns in garlic oil and "volcan de morcilla", a traditional rice and meat black pudding. Another well known speciality is "magret de pato" duck magret. There is also an offer of Teruel's ham, a typical protected denomination from Aragon. Wide selection of daily made dishes at chef's fantasy. Come and try. We'll surprise you.

“Excellent service Excellent food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

Stumbled upon this restaurant whilst strolling around Torremolinos. Setting was perfect and the menu intriguing. Ariel was on hand to make recommendations at our request. We enjoyed a complemtary starter a selection of tapas followed by a succulent duck dish and an octopus dish to die for. The accompanying wine rounded off the taste experience. We had no room left for a desert but the expresso and many brandies completed this end of holiday experience. Many thanks from Eleanor and Brian. - This is a must try!

“authentic with good service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013

We were a little confused with the menu items and prices as they were all over the place - main meals from 5 to 30 Euros. If we had studied them from outside it might have put us off, but in the end 3 out of 4 of us were more than happy with our meal, with my daughter asking to go back there for the Duck on another evening, but my son having over stretched himself with the Octopus dish. I really enjoyed having black pudding that wasn't from Bury market and accompanied well. So.. enjoyed it, but not sure it is a number 1 place necessarily. Service was top notch, I have to say, which makes such a difference.

“ok”

It was kind of a disappointment after reading the reviews. I expected more. The service was good, but the food was only average.

“Great food , great atmosphere, real Spain”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013

Definitely worth seeking out this restaurant ; good quality Spanish food , feels really authentic , and it's combined with great service from , in our experience , a waiter who really knew his stuff .
All this topped with the news that it represents good value too . It's easy to find as it sits in a quiet square just off the main drag .

“Sorry but no”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2013

Sorry but overrated, old school Spanish menu if done well can be attractive but the quality from the kitchen was just not up to the prices being charged. The ambiance lacked style or genuine good service. Ventorillo De La Pera used to pull this sort of thing off with lots to spare but this is not in the same class. The new restaurant across the square is worth a look if you want to spend at this level
