Description: Albertapas is running succesfully the business since 2008. Awarded chef Alberto with his daughter Naiara and his wife Begoña are always supervising the quality of food and service along with the whole staff. In this family owned restaurant you will be delighted by the typical spanish context and natural genuine food. Special care is dedicated every day to make customers feeling at ease, surrounding them with a friendly and warm atmosphere. The cuisine is home made and genuine, proposing to guests a fusion between traditional spanish cuisine and innovation. Special and very famous are "Gambas al ajillo", prawns in garlic oil and "volcan de morcilla", a traditional rice and meat black pudding. Another well known speciality is "magret de pato" duck magret. There is also an offer of Teruel's ham, a typical protected denomination from Aragon. Wide selection of daily made dishes at chef's fantasy. Come and try. We'll surprise you.

The worst part about our dining experience here at Granvino's is that it was on our last night and we could not come back for more. After two weeks in Torremolinos, this was our #1 discovery. We ordered five tapas and wine and then dessert and coffee and was each and every one the best example of what it was representing. The owner works the floor with her team and they were all really nice and patient. She was vivacious and charming as was the whole restaurant and dining experience. This is a "DON'T MISS" "go-to" place. A must.

Tried this restaurant because of the excellent reviews but was very disappointed. Waitress although pleasant was very unhelpful about the menu. My husband had the pork fillet which was very mediocre - 7/8 medallions of pork ringed round the plate with 6/7 chips in the middle. I had the cod in a spicy sauce and although the cod was cooked OK, the sauce was glutinous and greenish with the consistency of thick custard. No side dishes were offered and after my meal arrived I had to ask for a green salad. Would not be back.

Thank you for visiting us. We are sorry not to have well explained to our customer the characteristics of our star dish: pil pil cod. We know that a so traditional basque speciality may not meet the taste of everyone. We put our best care in serving our guests as they deserve. Critics are always welcome to improve our service.

Our international guests had awarded us with number one. We do not know if we deserve it, but we are strong in our decision to continue on the line of quality and traditional cuisine.

Visited this evening after reading trip advisor reviews . I was never more disappointed with a restaurant . From the beginning the waiter didn't know any of the dishes and any questions I had he had to go ask another waitress . Dishes arrived out quickly and were nothing like described . Cod main course was served in thick flavourless sauce which was described by waiter ( and menu) as spicy garlic sauce , accompanied by NOTHING . Lamb chops were 6 of the most miserable small chops I have ever seen . Food was brought to the table and no one appeared again , eventually I went to get the bill . I won't be back .

Dear sir,
Thank you for having visited us and especially for having underlined something we can do better to improve pur service. Follow up is very important to us, since it is a family run restaurant, we are always concerned about customer's and friends' satisfaction.
The waiter you've been served by is under training. We, the family, needed help so we hired the boy to train him. I, as a director, feel very sorry for the fact he could not make we meet your taste preferences. Sorry again.
The cod you ate is a special plate of our basque tradition, our star, our best dish. I am sorry there was not a good description. Bacalao al pil pil is a special dish made with a soft and moderately spicey garlic sauce. Not hot. It is not accompanied by anything.
About the smallness of chops I have to specify that the lamb is "lechal" which means 4 to 6 kg, very very young and small. I am sorry again for the fact you were not correctly informes by the waiter.
Eventually, I hope to see you again here, we will be pleased to serve you doing our best. Sometimes we are overwhelmed and lack of experience of our waiter made you feel not at ease.
We will be really honored if you would come here again to see in person how seriously we take our customers' complaints.

Fantastic from start to finish. Service a little below par but can't take away from the quality of this place. A1. Food to die for

Went here for lunch on Saturday. Excellent selection of Spanish tapas and other plates, reasonable house wine and friendly staff. One to go back to. Good standard and not expensive. Prawn Pil Pil was very good also the black pudding from Burgos, not so keen on the tripe but it was nice to try and the sauce was tasty. The selection of cured meats and cheese was also good. Looking forward to going back again. Slightly off the main tourist routes but all the better for that! Locals love it too so that's always a good sign.
