been going to this hotel for many years going again on 12th october. The staff are brilliant there always happy and will do everything they can to make your holiday good. The hotel is spotless, the food is good the swimming pool is very large they have a gym. The beach is across the road and you can walk for miles along the prom. busses stop outside the hotel so its easy to go up the town. The train station is around the corner so theres everything you want within easy reach of the hotel.

Just returned from a one week stay. This hotel is excellent. Maid service every day, food very good, helpful receptionists and overall I can't complain. Only slight negative is the quality of the white wine, probably would have tasted better if it was cold but always Luke warm. Always something for a person to eat, I am very fussy and never went hungry! We had 5 golfers with us and there was plenty courses to choose from. Very close to the train station which takes you anywhere you want to go easily.

Stayed All inclusive for a week, Excellent hotel, served with glass of bubbly on checking in, Meals were very good with a wide choice.

Pool bar and salon bar both excellent with the opportunity to serve yourself if you wished in a seperate area, same in restaurant if you wished.

Entertainment was good and varied to suit all tastes, terrace bar if you preferred to have a chat. (serve yourself drinks)

The hotel is a bit out of the centre but the beach and shops short walk to the end of road, bus stop outside of hotel for Torremolinos Centre bus station, from there you can transfer to anywhere you wnat.

We asked for two family rooms close together, got them next door but one, plenty of storage space with balconys overlooking pool area, rooms were clean, no fridge, but ther was a safe (supplement), nice bathroom including toiletries.

Staff were very nice and helpful, WI FI was 1 euro for half an hour. Only one complaint was that there were no public toilets on the main floor, which meant going down to the restaurant floor, which is a problem when you are in the bar/longe with young children.

Would definitely go back and would recommend it.

Room Tip: need to be on 2nd or 3rd floor as on ground floor yoor balcony is level with sunbathers

Just back from Riu Costa Lago. The food was excellent. We never had to have the same thing twice. Rooms fine but wish we had a fridge. Also wish pool bar stayed open at night with music as entertainment was dire. This hotel was full of elderly people. Too quiet and tame for us. It was also our Ruby Anniversary while we were on holiday. I had advised Jet 2 and emailed the hotel to advise. I really thought the hotel may have acknowledged this, Perhaps a bottle of cava could have been on our table on 20th Sept, but it wasnt even mentioned. We were a little disappointed.

Room Tip: Room 420-427 fantastic pool and sea view.

I have just returned from this hotel, and firstly I would like to point out that it is NOT in torremolinos, it is on the outskirts in a quiet area called playa mar. The hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean too, entertainment was poor, food poor....... same same same , same breakfast ,lunch and dinner you didn't have to look , rooms are very big , but bathrooms are tiny ,loads of storage space , safe was 20 euros for the key, but it was returned to you when you check out. The entertainment during the day was aqua aerobics, mini golf ????? French boules, and .......the bingo, you were given 1 ticket and the numbers were called in 5 languages........zzzzzz , it was help yourself to beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee and wine , only problem I had was you only get a very small plastic cup for the beer, so 2 mouthfuls and you were empty !!!! surely they could give you a pint size disposable plastic cup.....(.just a thought), it does get a bit monotonous back and fore to the bar or self serve pump ! the staff were friendly enough. The clientele are mainly german, french, dutch the brits are the minority , I didn't have a problem with that except they aint very good at queueing, hence you were often stood, when they would walk straight past you to the front and get served, no problem with the sunbeds, I reckon the brits are worse for reserving them !!!, The beach across the road has dark sand but fabulous sunbeds with thick mattresses, 2 for 6 euros with a parasol thrown in, good bar with live music just down the road called kennedys with live music,. beer was good too, would I return no , not enough going on in and around the hotel, it just lacked something I cant put my finger on.We never saw our first choice holiday rep once, we didn't even have an invite to a welcome meeting, if they had 1, didn't need them ,so just as well .

Room Tip: low floors and you dont have to wait for the lift !!

stayed 4 nights in this hotel which we both thought was enough
no real complaints beds a bit hard bathroom decor a bit tired food staring to get boring after 4 days but well cooked and tasty
disappointed if you wanted a drink during the day had to go all the way to the pool bar as bar in hotel only open on an evening nice adult slush puppies though from pool bar made with vodka cooling and tasty at the same time easy to get served at any time though self service coffee beer and soft drinks during day plus bar if you wanted a cocktail and no queues at bar on an evening really
rooms kept clean maid every day and clean towels but pool towels have to be changed at reception on an evening
two sittings for dinner and reserved table so no having to find a table for dinner but sit anywhere for breakfast and dinner which was fine always plenty of room inside but only a few outdoor tables
overall a good hotel but a bit far from town center but bus stop just outside though
there are shops and bars close by down towards the beach and along the front
enjoyed our visit but would not revisit
