I would recommend this restaurant for a nice meal with good wine, the waiters are so nice and attentive - you can sit outside and watch the world go by. We went there three times in the one week and will go back next year.

A family run restaurant, Levante has been doing this for a long time. Food is freshly made to order. Beautiful seafood if you want it, but a simply prepared omlette was also delicious. Tip : have a quick look at the kitchen on the way to the bathroom. It is absolutely spotless. As are the bathroom facilities, which alot of restaurants cannot provide.

We have eaten in this restaurant once or twice when in La Carihuela on previous visits. This time we ate there every evening. Its a family run place and its shows. The father makes sure all diners are looked after, and speaks to you whether you are spanish or a tourist. They are attentive without being intrusive. The sons wait on and one also cooks along with the daughter. We had sole which was delicious and spanish potatoes. You could have chips but it became a standing joke with Diego one of the sons, NO CHIPS! They do a good bottle of house red for 7euros. One evening I wasnt very hungry and Diego suggested half a portion, which was just enough. If you are in the area please give it a try, its not 'posh' like some of the restaurants its a place where you can have good food and just linger over a bottle of wine, no hassle just a lovely atmosphere. They are closed on a Sunday
