“Super Area”

Great beach, beautiful flat promenade where people walk and run between Torremolinos and Benalmedena. Our third visit and going back in September!

“La Carihuela has everything.”

Good flat walking along beach and shops.
This is a wide paved walkway between the sea and shops, cafes and resturants with plenty stopping off places.

“Great part of Torremolinos”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2013

I guess 'La Carihuela' referred to a part of the coast-line where it's bustling with shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, etc....
Didn't find this hotspot until half-way through the holiday. Excellent beach with lots of places to rent deck chairs which include umbrellas and service. Cheap as chips especially if your going to stay the majority of the day.
Recommended! Check it out!!

“La Carihuela village”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2013

ALthough this is joined on to Torremolinos, it has retained its village identity. A few shops. Good restaurants/tapas bars and a wonderful paseo maritimo.

“La Carihuela in Summer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

The boulevard at La Carihuela is the best along the Costa del Sol. A great selection of bars and restaurants. Good atmosphere, great bargains. Also visit the 2nd line: Calle Bulto!
