the old fishing village has managed to retain its village feel and has plenty of charm. The area is spoilt for choice with great restaurants and tapas bars
there are plenty of bars themed for the Dutch, English etc,but overall the village still has a great Spanish feel.
The promenade area is totally pedestrianised therefore you can wander down to the marina in benalmadena with the fantastic aromas coming from the restaurants, and still hear the lapping of the sea, the beach is lovely and clean
i never tire of coming here
