“Great hotel for a winter break”
Reviewed February 12, 2011

I have stayed at this hotel six times over the past three years always in the winter months. The staff are friendly and efficient especially those in the dinning-room. The rooms are reasonably well equipped but tea/coffee making facilities would be a welcome addition. They are kept clean and tidy by a helpful and cheerful group of cleaners. The roof-top swimming pool is a great place for gentle exercise with wonderful views and is especially useful if the weather is inclement. I have in the past praised the food, unfortunately on this last visit it was not up to its usual high standard but was acceptable.

I think a lot of people have a outdated image of Torremolinos. At the times I have been there I have seen no antisocial behaviour and have found the locals to be helpful and friendly. It is a attractive resort with good links to the airport, Malaga and the rest of Spain.. I so enjoyed my last visit that I am intending to go again for a few days at the beginning of March 2011.

Hotel is in a great location shame the hotel and staff dont live up to the area.
Reception staff are surely and very unhelpfull even rude. Reading the paper while they are serving you!! No welcome what so ever. No facilties in room tea/coffee etc. Asked for an iron and was told no when I asked why was told by the male receptionist it was for health and safety reasons. I have managed hotels all over the world and never had an issue with a guest using an iron. They do however have an ironing service which will cost you €4 for a skirt and €3.50 for a t shirt not good service at all. No information about the hotel or area on arrival and none in the room you just have to find your own way around as the staff dont really speak english. No English or American tv channels all German and Spanish only CNN news would have at least expected Sky news. Everything in the hotel is very expensive wifi €5 for 45 mins. If you only want a bed for a night then its ok but if you want any kind of customer service look elsewhere it doesnt exist in this hotel

a well appointed hotel, just a stone's throw from the train station. no complaints about the room, clean and spacious. paper thin walls meant that it was pretty noisy most of the time. but what really lets this hotel down is the evening meals. at best adequate and at worst - inedible! there was nothing wrong with the quality of the ingredients, it was the way they had been cooked eg., fresh hake that you couldn't even cut with a knife the consistency of an extremely damp and compacted sponge! everything was cold, even when we came down for dinner just as the restaurant opened. the salads were the only saving grace. breakfast was adequate. this was the first time we have stayed in this hotel and it will definately be the last. back to the "don's" for us i'm afraid!

Great service from the friendly staff of this hotel. Was able to concentrate while staying at the hotel and studying. Hotel close enough for a stroll by the sea side, a visit to the city center and still quite enough to relax. Will recommend to visitors to Malaga

I've just returned from a few days break in Torremolinos and stayed at this hotel. The hotel is situated on one of the main streets, the staff were very friendly, helpful, curteous and polite. The hotel was spotless!! My 'single' room was adeque and roomy enough for one person, it was clean, tidy and comfortable. The room was serviced on a daily basis and towels changed everyday.

The restaurant served good food, an excellent selection and everything was as it should be, staff made regular food changes and nothing was left lying out for long periods of time. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.

I used the telephone in the room to make two calls to the UK, these were quite lengthy calls, when i was checking out I said that I had a telephone bill to settle. I got charged 20cents!!! I told the gentleman at reception that I had made two calls and spent quite some time chatting on the telephone, he went away and checked the account for the room and it was indeed on 20 cents. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

************I'll certainly be making a return visit****************

I have stayed here 3 or 4 times now. It is very good central location and good value.
Ignore any fussy whinging reviews it is excellent.

It can get busy so therefore a little noisier sometimes - but you are in the centre of Torres. They have fitted new super doors throughout to enhance security and stop the door slamming noises.

So if you are wanting a modern stylish central clean spacious hotel with most amenities then this is it!

I booked this hotel through Expedia and got an excellent deal - just over £30 per night with breakfast and dinner included. Everything worked smoothly; the hotel staff had all my details and there were no hidden charges at the end of the stay. The room was large and spacious, and also had a balcony which was great. Food was perfect. The hotel's located about 2 mins walk from Torremolinos train station and 5 mins from the bus station so easy to get around the Costa del Sol. I don't know what the rates would be if you weren't on a special deal but it's a great hotel and highly recommended.
