I have stayed here 3 or 4 times now. It is very good central location and good value.
Ignore any fussy whinging reviews it is excellent.

It can get busy so therefore a little noisier sometimes - but you are in the centre of Torres. They have fitted new super doors throughout to enhance security and stop the door slamming noises.

So if you are wanting a modern stylish central clean spacious hotel with most amenities then this is it!

I booked this hotel through Expedia and got an excellent deal - just over £30 per night with breakfast and dinner included. Everything worked smoothly; the hotel staff had all my details and there were no hidden charges at the end of the stay. The room was large and spacious, and also had a balcony which was great. Food was perfect. The hotel's located about 2 mins walk from Torremolinos train station and 5 mins from the bus station so easy to get around the Costa del Sol. I don't know what the rates would be if you weren't on a special deal but it's a great hotel and highly recommended.

After reading the reviews on Tripadvisor about this Hotel, we booked straight away. We had a sea view room with half board, and can't complain about anything. The rooms are very large, we were given a side view sea view room which was quiet and had a great balcony for sitting out in. Great location, with easy access to shops and long walks along sea. The breakfast and evening meals were much the same most nights with simple variations, however a great selection for all, and very clean service. We ate well and could always find a seat, maybe being Novermber. The staff were very friendly, and although I read some reviews about certain staff being unfriendly, I think this maybe a cultural thing, every staff member we spoke to very very friendly and accomodating, even if some found english hard, let's face it my spanish is not good at all, but we all got by. The only gripe is the pool is freezing, and even though the roof top was supposed to be heated, this was also cold, apart from that, a peaceful hotel and for the price we paid there are no complaints, recommend to all

my second time in Cervantes this year.Like on previous visit I paid extra for sea view.On my first visit I had a room with full frontal sea view .However on this occasion sea view was only partial and to side and I was dissapointed considering how much extra it cost. When I mentioned this to Customer care they felt it was adequate to describe this as sea view and charge same as full sea view.Personally had I realised this to be the case I would not have bothered to book seaview and used the money to treat myself to a couple of spa treatments or whatever.I also felt that on this occasion the evening food selection poor in relation to selection on previous visit. We had pumpkin soup and pork on three evenings of one week.I am not complaining about the quality of the food but a little more choice would have madeit better as the quality was always good. You will read in my previous review that i feel Cervantes is excellently located, rooms and services are deserving of four star rating, excellent value seaview issue aside and cleaning to a high standard.

Having stayed at this hotel twice before I was delighted with the improvements.
There is a ramp now installed which makes access so much easier than in the past.
There is also now exit door on Plaze Europa by use of the room key.
The rooms were still of the same very high standard but the dining room is very confusing.
The refurbishment has created different service areas around the room but there
is no rhyme nor reason to which foods are where. Each night the cutlery is in a different
place. The still do not cater for decaffeinated drinks or low salt and sugar diets.
The dining room staff are extremely efficient and the tables are well presentd with
cloth(not paper). The food was not of the same high quality as previously but was
still of a reasonable quality and variety. I did note that there was a superior menu
presented on the night that the coach tour of Oriental visitors stayed overnight.l
The indoor pool and roof terrace give magnificent views so if not in a room with
seaview these can still be enjoyed.
The only minus I would report was that I noted that in the garden terraces that ashtrays
were not emptied in a 24 hour period which was not relective of the rest of the hotel.
On the whole the revamping over the last few years has lost any Spanish ambience
within the hotel, which I found sad.

Pretty good hotel (location, food, staff) with some shortcomings which you wouldn’t pay attention to if you travel without children. No safe area for children under 4 (The bee club was closed). The swimming pool area and garden are dangerous they have no protection, little children can fall. The hotel does not have enough elevators for the number of guests staying there, and the existing elevators tend to go out of order quite often (and are not fixed for days), which causes guests to wait for an elevator for up to 10 minutes sometimes. Taking the stairs is not a problem, except that this is an 8-story building, and if you have suitcases or small babies with carriages, etc.... Another problem is the lines to get into the restaurant for breakfast and dinner.... Sometimes guests have to wait in queues for 10-15 minutes to get a table. Another important thing which is missing in "4" star hotel is that no entertainment at all.

Located right next to the central place and main shopping street and 3 minutes walk from the Torremolinos nightlife area La Nogalera. The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable enough for a couple of weeks. The younger staff is friendlier than the older staff... The elevators system is a bit old and you might want to foreseen a few more minutes before leaving as you may be waiting some time for a free elevator. If you are not an early bird, you might be disturbed by the street noise in the morning as the windows are not well sound proofed, but the streets are quite at night. I was there in October, so outside the main season. Don't expect anything extraordinary for the breakfast, but at least, there is a varied choice. I didn't try the restaurant.
