“Great location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014

The location of this hotel is just fantastic, couldn't ask for a more central hotel. It's 2 minute walk from Torremolinos train station, note that the train station doesn't have a lift or escalators and you have to be able to climb stairs to use it, but otherwise the hotel is on the same level as the station and on the same 'street'. You can see the sign of the hotel when you get out of the station, so it's impossible to miss.
Reception was super friendly, the hotel immaculately clean, lots of space and seating in the reception area. We had a sea view room and the room itself was fantastic, very clean and comfortable. We had a fridge but no coffee making facilities.
Dinner was sometimes very good and sometimes just good. We had drinks included so we were able to help ourselves to soft drinks, beer, sangria and wine. Beer was very good.
We will definitely stay here next time we go to Torremolinos

Hotel is in a good central location in Torremolinos.

Hotel is an average 3-4 star hotel, where everything works, but nothing is quite new.
It is a busy hotel with also large local groups. That also affect the restaurant, as it is rather mass feeding style of operation.

Good for a few days stay in Torre.

We went with a group of friends for 3 nights at Hotel Cervantes. For what you pay for the all inclusive deal it is really good value for money. We had a 4 course gala dinner to bring in the new year with wine, a group and dancing until 3am. All the drinks at the bar were the top labels ie Jack Daniels, Ron Barcardi etc. If you are vegetarian you had a problem as all the courses included meat or fish and there were some complaints from non Spanish guests. The general food is fine, you can always find something to eat. I like to try different restaurants and bars so it would not be my choice for a longer holiday but for a short break its fine. Railway station is only 5 minutes away so you can be in Malaga or Fuengirola quite easily. Rooms were clean, towels changed everyday and staff are pleasant. The hotel is in the old town and you need to be able bodied or use the lift to get down to the beach

The hotel is located in the town centre and is great value for money. Yes the food is repetitive and yes you can wait a while at the bar at busier times but it's a big hotel and can get busy. 9 of us stayed here and nobody could complain. It's great value for money and clean.

Just stayed 2 nights, to start with i booked a double room and got 2 twin beds they said this was a double!! so i asked what is a twin? One of the beds was broken. it was on the top floor room 806 very noisy room due to the pool above and kids running riot.Be careful when booking, my rate was to include all beverages, I ordered a Vodka /coke at the bar, they poured cheap Glens vodka, then when the barman saw my yellow wrist tag he then said "oh! no you must have smirnoff"better I thought.I was walking away and he then said 6 euros 20 pls, Sorry I replied but I have a rate that includes all beverages. No way! he said. you must pay.Blimey ...I went to the front desk and they said my beverages are included in the restaurant ONLY.I had my booking slip and it didn't say Restaurant only on it but they insisted even though it didn't say it i had to pay for my drinks at the bar.Be careful of this place. Not good and food is ok but dried out.

Room Tip: Don't go to the TOP floor.be careful of drinks.Staff are reminding folk about how they shouldn...

This hotel is your average 3 star Spanish hotel not 4 star, but to be honest that's what it's priced at, we paid around £80 per night for all inclusive and that worked out to be very good value, yes the rooms are a little dated but clean and serviceable , the reception staff we found to helpful as we booked a double bed with sea view and were accommodated . The bar staff and service I found just fine, and the restaurant the same, food was varied and not always to our taste, but very well presented and always fresh and hot, you could always find something to eat, the hi light was the gala on New Year's Eve, the hotel really went to town and we had a fantastic night , sea food , fillet steak and very good wine and champagne , dancing , you could not fault it. The only down fall is there is no entertainment in the hotel which we did know before we went, but due to the central location of hotel we planned on going out , but there is none in the resort either, no live acts , bands, even bingo, nothing at all, for this reason we will not return to resort, if this hotel was in benidorm we would def return , plenty of days out though due to good links with the trains and buses . All in all a good 3 star hotel and very good value for money.

My visit was for a reunion with a couple of German pals, I emailed them asking for the three us to be on the same (upper) floor with a sea view and nearby each other, we were put all over the place. My room balcony was actually completely sunless, backside of the hotel.
The restaurant was very average as was the hotel. No ice machine and bar reluctant to provide ice, we purchased ours from Lidles.
The soap provided on arrival was unbelievably small and quite laughable (something like 20*40*3mm) in all my journeys I have never seen such a small bar!, what is this, a 2 star hotel?. I had to stick the two bars supplied together in order to use them and I had to go out and buy a proper bar the next day. The originals weren't replaced until 6 days later!!!
Generally the hotel is OK and would return but with a bar of soap. Very close to the town centre.

Room Tip: Difficult to say as what I asked for I didnt get. One of my friends rooms overlooking the pool was n...
