“Suffering badly”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

Pedestrian shopping street with LOTS of closed down shops - not just because it was early season - I mean gutted and shut with for sale signs. Very depressing.

“A walk down memory lane”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

I used to visit Torremolinos often in the 70s. Its been years since I last was there. Calle San Miguel has changed much but still holds some of the charm of the past...the old Franco Spain.

“Changed over the years”
Reviewed March 8, 2013

The main shopping street in Torremolinos as changed over the last few years. The current economic situation in Spain is reflected on the street. Lots of business closed.

“Pleasant - but walk to the end and down the steps!”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

Miguel Street is lovely in the summer but in February it is, of course, much quieter. If you continue to the end of the street you will come to some steps which twist down to the beach. On these steps there are little shops and it is quite delightful meandering down to the beach from where you can take a lovely stroll along the prom to the Carihuela and even further, though not prohibitably so, to the Marina and beyond, in Benalmadena. There are many lovely restaurants along the way and one can enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

“no traffic”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

This street is full of perfume shops, handbag shops and unusually fish bars - no not with chips - fish that eat the skin on your feet. It is pedestrianised, which is good and has a variety of shops. In the square, it is quite expensive and touristy, but 100yds further along is el panto...the most wonderful coffee shop, their strawberry tarts are yummy. Or you can have a sample size plate full of cakes...forget lunch. Good street for shopping.
