Owner description: A pleasant, though touristy, street lined with shops, bars and cafes.

This street is full of perfume shops, handbag shops and unusually fish bars - no not with chips - fish that eat the skin on your feet. It is pedestrianised, which is good and has a variety of shops. In the square, it is quite expensive and touristy, but 100yds further along is el panto...the most wonderful coffee shop, their strawberry tarts are yummy. Or you can have a sample size plate full of cakes...forget lunch. Good street for shopping.

The Calle San Miguel has changed beyond all recognition over the past decades, but is none the worse for that. Linking the sea shore with the town centre it meanders upwards (or downwards) at an inclination which is in turns alarming or very gentle. It is flanked by some very interesting shops, and some nice bars and cafés in which to rest (which one can also do in the lovely church). Running off it are some interesting alleyways which also contain useful emporia.

Main shopping area with lots of shops of various kinds, some nice little cafe/bars too. Something to suit everyone.

Good shops for medium to designer wear. Bars, restaurants. You can catch the train from this street towards the top of the street and also the local bus.

Loved sauntering along here, its quaint and interesting with lots of shops although they were a bit samey, hand bags and leather etc but it was fun to people watch and I loved the atmosphere.
