“Take a picnic!”
Reviewed December 5, 2013

We had a really great time at this water park as a family of grandmother, mother, father, teenage son and young daughter. The slides were varied enough for all different age groups and most that I saw did not require swimming, so would suit a non swimmer too. The park was immaculately clean and the kids play areas were well equipped with many life guards on hand. My only gripe was the amount of money this cost. After paying the entry fee we had to pay to hire rings for the slides, pay for a locker, pay for a sunbed, but the most expensive thing was the food! WAY overpriced for the poor quality food we were served. So buy a ring before you go, take a picnic and you'll save a fortune (and probably enjoy your food a lot more!).

As a non-swimmer, I didn't think I would enjoy this day but it was good fun with many slides and rides to go on, but the best one was the huge tall white slide, hundreds of feet high, that i nearly bottled out of, then at the 2nd attempt did it!!! terrifying but awesome at the same time! a good place for either a group of friends or a family.

“Go in the quiet months!!”
Reviewed September 29, 2013 via mobile

I was fortunate enough to go on the last day before is closed for the season.

After paying €26 to get in you then need to pay €10 to get a locker (€5 of the €10 is a deposit).

Most of the worthwhile rides require a rubber ring which you can rent. Luckily the park wasn't very busy so there was no need to rent as there were always spares around that you could grab. And I didn't spend more than ten minutes queuing for a ride.

On the down side I found the food to be rather expensive (€8 for a slush puppie) and bought the minimum I could and waited to eat after I left the park.

I would return but only during off-peak months as I can imagine the park to be unbearable when fully packed!!

“Fun day out, but watch out for hidden costs!!”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

It's definitely worth getting tickets in advance to save a bit of money, but it also means you get to skip the queue. It doesn't end once you get in though, since you have to queue (and pay) for a locker, with the option of renting an inflatable ring. This seems ridiculous, but so many people do it (and they hold back on putting out the free inflatables!) that you'll find yourself queueing up for a large part of the day... This is a shame, and takes the shine off the day you remember as being the best part of your holiday as a child!
