A typical Spanish restaurant with a modern touch. Very rare among all the English pubs and bad restaurants along the coast.
A must visit when in the area!

What a shock, a restaurant in Torremolinos full of Spanish people! Do go late, it livens up after 8.00pm. Lots of really good tapas - try the wild boar it is still really excellent. Talk to the owner about food and wine - before you know it other diners will join in with good advice and fun.

I am living now here in Torremolinos for 2 years. For me it was not easy to choose the right location for just having a good wine and traditional Tapas. Why wasn´t it easy ? Well, Torremolinos is mostly dedicated to tourist - which is no weakness but it is a fact. Therefore most restaurants are naturally offering a boring choice of Tapas and wines which genuine people from Spain would not eat. On the other hand, most traditional, Spanish restaurants with for sure good food and wines are so old fashioned, that it isn´t my style either.
La vina de Ale is different. The ambiente is modern, comfortable but not too fancy. The staff is really anxious to look for you and your table and the food is brilliant. The owner is a mid thirty guy who is always obvious among his guests and really friendly. The choice of wine is excellent and the prices are really fair.
So if you ever come to Torremolinos. Go there - it is a must.

We were staying nearby andfancied a drink so Alberto from Ecuador Park Apartments suggested we come here as it is just round the corner. Had a couple of glasses of wine accompanied by complimentary tapas - the wine was Vina Sol - decent stuff and gorgeous too and the tapas were delicious!!!! Staff attentive without being invasive. Loved it :)

Finally visited this tapas restaurant after reading T/A reviews. You will not be disappointed. Both the food and wine we had, were excellent and very reasonably priced. The Menu is not huge and comprises mainly meats; cheeses; salads and breads. We began with a very tasty, bread, oil, and garlic complimentary tapa; followed by wild boar and selection of meats. Food was beautifull and unusually presented. Quite an experience. We washed it all down with a bottle of house red - Ribera - which was lovely. We could not manage a dessert. The restaurant has a large, covered, outside seating area, occupied by a variety of nationalities the night we went. Very busy with good atmosphere and helpful waiters. Inside looked cosy and inviting too. We fully intend going back to La Vina de Ale on our next visit to Torremolinos.
