Great view of the yachts from most of the bars and not as expensive as you might think. We choose Sinatras most nights when the sun had gone down.

“take your credit card!!!!!!!”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

Puerto Banus is a vibrant, lively place but, is very expensive. You are paying treble the going rate purely for the kudos of being in Banus and mingling with the "stars". Visit here once, spend nothing, and never go back!!!!!!

“Porto Banus -glamour?”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

The old glamour is history. It was a little posh on the sea side but once walking through the 2nd row, all was dirty, smelly and a picture of glorious times long gone by.

“Return to the Port”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Yes, that time of year again. Dublin is wet and miserable so what better tonic than to book the golf trip for Puerto Banus for early May. Same agenda as every year - two rounds (maybe three) in Los Flomingos and Marbella Club Resort. Probably the best two courses within a 20/30 minutes drive from "The Port". (otherwise it's a good spin down the coast to La Reserva/Finca Cortesin etc). Lasy year a slight change of plan at night - we dined in Marbella as opposed to the Port. Much better value. The restaurants are very over priced in The Port and the food is very mediocre. Much better choice in Marbella once you steer clear of Orange Square as it is very "hit and miss" there apart from the Orange Tree restaurant. Very good albeit with Dublin prices. Best to hit the Port after midnight as it only takes off at that time. Favourite late bar last year -"News Cafe". Favourite place for breakfast -" News Cafe" - favourite place for lunchtime snack - ....you guesed right!!!!!!!!! So, roll on May 3013. By the way dont bring clubs from home anymore - Club can be hired at Malaga Airport from Paul McGinley outfit- very reasonable - clubstohire.com.

“Great day out”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

definately go to Puerto Banus if you go to Costa del Sol for a holiday. I have never seen so many beautiful boats and yachts. There is also a 'taxi' boat which takes you from Puerto banus harbour to Marbella, its a lovely trip and the staff on board are very friendly. There are fantastic shops such as Versace , Dior etc around the harbour, also lovely restaurants but are very expensive. Cars around the harbour are for the mega rich!!! ferrari porche lambourghini etc but great to see. Nice to see how the other half live.
