The staff here couldn't have been more helpful. We had our share of challenges from a logistics standpoint and they were always ready to help and solve our problems.

The breakfast outside on the rooftop was a great way to start the day. It was always a pleasure to chat with the folks serving us as well.

The rooms weren't all in one location as it is bed and breakfast so the buildings were spread out. We stayed on the second floor of one of the villas...you do need to be able to walk up the stairs. The room was spacious with a master bedroom and a smaller second bedroom.

We had an interesting exchange with one of the restaurant owners nearby. We often were given food in real plates to take upstairs and return when we were done. One restaurant owner asked if we were staying in La Villa Marbella. We replied yes and asked why...she said "they always get the nicest people there" to which we replied "that is because they are nice!"

We've just returned from a lovely long weekend in Marbella - the hotel & old town offered a very authentic 'Spainish' experience rather than the glitzy resorts nearby where, quite frankly, you could be anywhere in the world. Bolivar, Ben & Marcos were always happy to assist with booking taxis, recommending restaurants and generally made you feel incredibly welcome. Only negative issue during our stay was the noise coming up from street level - we usually like to sleep late on holiday, but every morning we were woken up by loud chatty neighbours. Regardless, we look forward to returning soon!

My friend and I spent 10 days at La Villa Marbella this summer. It was chosen based on trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Marcos and his staff are excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast on the roof top terrace was plentiful and varied, and Amy our server was very sweet. Marcos helped us plan day trips including booking tickets and guides where needed, and taking the time to plan routes for us in Ronda and Granada to ensure we saw all the sights. Our room was the Yangdon room, a twin which was on the first floor of the main building. It included two very comfortable beds, a modern bathroom and was decorated tastefully. Although we were on the main floor around the corner from reception, there was no issue with noise from the street or the reception area. Room was cleaned daily and a chocolate on our beds was a welcome treat when we got back from a day of sight seeing. La Villa Marbella is situated on a lovely walking street steps from many outdoor cafes and shops and about a 10 minute walk thru old town to the sea. I would highly recommend La Villa Marbella and will definitely return for another visit.

My husband, our 6 year old granddaughter, and myself stayed in the Mandalay Suite and enjoyed again the wonderful hospitality of Marcos and his great team. This hotel just goes from strength to strength. We have stayed in various rooms and suites on our visits and they are all of a superior quality. Nothing is too much trouble for Marcos, Bolivar, Ben, and Isabella, who go the extra mile for all their guests.
The location of Villa Marbella is superb, being just behind the orange square, making it so easy to get to the beach, the lovely shops, and of course many good restaurants.
This is favourite "MUST VISIT" hotel in Marbella, we can't recommend it highly enough!
