We visited Casa Lola based on Tripadvisor reviews and were not at all disappointed. We had to wait ten minutes or so for a table and ordered eight tapas dishes and a bottle of wine between three. The food was all freshly cooked and came quickly, one dish after another.
We all agreed that the food was the best tasting tapas that we had enjoyed in Marbella. The dishes were original, beautifully cooked and full of flavour, much superior to the usual offerings in tapas restaurants. We recommend the broken eggs with morcilla, the exquisite hamburgers and the timbal of baked aubergine, tomato and goats cheese.
In all a substantial and flavoursome meal with Rioja for just €35!
