“A Culinary Treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

If you are looking for a special place to dine in Marbella you would be hard pressed to find anything better than Paco Jimenez's new restaurant which is beautifully situated in a historic building/art gallery overlooking Orange Square. The menu is not large but it is very imaginative and exquisitely presented - every dish is a real work of art! The wine list is equally impressive with some excellent wines which won't break the bank and the service is superb. This is a family enterprise which really deserves to succeed and we would urge you to give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

“Fantastic Culinary Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

We walked the Old Town looking at every menu posted in the narrow streets. The menu at Paco Jimenez stood out from the rest as it was concise and ouzed quality as well as not being over priced. We took a peak upstairs only to be invited in by the owner for a look around. She explained they had recently opened but so far business had been steady. After a quick run through the menu she added if we had any dishes we would like that were not on the menu, they would do their best to oblige. We booked a table and returned later that evening. True to their word we asked for a gambas starter which wasn't on the menu and we were treated to an absolute delight. Main course was equally good and substantial enough that we couldn't manage a dessert. A good variety of local wines were available, again at reason prices. So good we had to go back the next night!

“Secret gem in the most touristy point of the town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Happened to have a late lunch at this charming restaurant on a grey rainy Sunday. Greeted by the hospitable hostess who spoke brilliant English (which is quite a rare thing in Spain I must admit). We also profited the privilege to choose any table...and certainly sat at the balcony - the view is great.
Frankly speaking we were not expecting much from the food...having thought that we got in a sort of tourist trap........but....... minute after minute we realized that our lunch turned out to be by far the best and memorable meal of our trip.
The service was second to none.....the drinks, amuse bouche, gorgeous toasted bread....and finally our prawns and scallops.
The presentation and the taste of our seafood and a chocolate dessert later were lovely...delicate (which is generally another rear thing in local restaurants) and balanced. Complimentary digestive was delicious also..
Despite of siesta time we were not rushed....on the contrary - we felt relaxed and spent a long time enjoying the setting....
For those who prefer the best in food and service...+beautiful ambiance and romantic atmosphere - this new restaurant in Oranges Plaza is the best find.
Compliments to Sig. Paco Jimenez and all the family! Great job!
