Owner description: International tennis club Royal Tennis Club Marbella" was founded 40 years ago by a group of tennis professionals with wide experience in tennis organisation and management. The tennis club is located in Marbella town, in a beautiful, coastal area of El Rosario. Ideal climate conditions allow you to practise tennis and padel sports all year round surrounded by unique nature, tranquility and fresh air. For over 40 years, the club is renowned for its clay tennis courts made of tightly packed earh, which are considered to be the best in the entire Costa del Sol. We had a pleasure to welcome in our tennis club internationally known tennis players such as J.C. Ferrero, D. Ferrer, A. Kuznetsov, J. Acasuso, Emilio Álvarez and others. Many international tournaments including DuelodeLegiones´08 Spain against Argentina took place in our tennis club. We offer 8 clay tennis courts and 1 hard court. Professional night lighting allows you to enjoy playing tennis or paddel at any time!

“Poorly maintained hard court and very noisy”
Reviewed February 12, 2014

We played here in February after a rainy night. There were puddles on the court and lots of pine needles and debris which had not been cleared. The surface of the court is very poor and uneven with roots making the surface erupt in places. Also it is extremely noisy being near to the autopista. Could not hear each other calling the scores.
There is a tennis academy here where the standard if play appeared to be high.
I believe the clay courts would be much better.
There is a restaurant on the complex where coffee was really good.
Would not return.

“Good courts...Nothing else”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

I was expecting a great tennis club... I did get excellent tennis courts and I am happy with the courts. This is not a tennis club (If you know what a tennis club is). The courts are fine.

“Unfortunately it doesn't have get many visitors”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

They are trying very hard to get people to use the restaurant attached to the club. It is spacious and beautifully kept with friendly staff but unfortunately they have not been able to get the clientele to make this place a choice for lunch or dinner

“Very good!”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

It's a sport complex with tennis courts, padel courts, a gym, a restaurant called La Veranda Verde, pilates, a massage saloon, yoga, boxing, aerobic and many other activities. The service is very good, the staff speaks various languages. There is a tennis academy where you or your child can learn tennis basics or advance your skill. If you are on the Costa del Sol and you like sports this is the place to go.
