Hotel was nice, I stayed in this hotel back in October 2012 me and my partner . It's very clean , quiet , very relaxing hotel . Staff were friendly . There is a highway right outside hotel there's no shops within walking distance but there's a taxi stand across from the hotel - which is good !
About 5 min drive into puerto Banus. Overall nice hotel lovely place , but I will stay somewhere much closer to shops etc .

I stayed here in October. The rooms were very nice (except for a TV with very poor choice channels), the breakfast was very generous but the staff I found were rude, uncaring and actually caused me to raise my voice at them in shock when I went to check out. I dont know if it was because it was out of season but they could hardly be bothered to raise a finger to help the guests. The hotel was a good place to stay and hopefully the staff would have either found some manners or changed by the time anybody else gets there.

The rooms in NH Alanda clean and ok, service allright, pool quiet and clean as well. Not a 5* but still great value for the location (just opposite Hotel Punete Romano and not far from Marbella Club). The cash you save by staying in the NH Alanda can then be spend in Marbella Club for a fantastic lunch buffet at the beach club. Overall a good experience in the hotel.

Room Tip: the rooms away from the road are obvioulsy quieter but do not offer the same view as seafront/roadfront rooms.

Arrived at hotel at midday and wouldn't let us have room until 3. When one books a double room you don't expect twin beds. We weren't the first to be at reception complaining about this. Finally got a double room at 6pm!!Room however was spacious but didn't like the lighting system and we found it hard to navigate the switches in the dark. The bath wasn't cleaned the next day resulting in having to clean it ourselves and then guess what, same again the day after. Reception were embarrassed when we told them and fortunately we were fine thereafter with the housekeeping.

Breakfast room was a fiasco most mornings. Not enough room in the aisles for 2 people to pass and therefore this resulted in people bumping into each other this not being too clever when you are carrying hot drinks and plates of food. Food not replenished quickly enough either.

Hotel was near some lovely beaches which we used each day as we are prefer beach to swimming pool and we enjoyed the lovely walk each evening along the prom into Marbella town which took about 45 minutes each way. When we got back to hotel in the evening, there was no bar in which to sit and have a beer/coffee and the hotel lacked total atmosphere. It was basically a base for us in the end.

All I can say about this hotel is all fur coat and no knickers. Nice hotel, rooms and grounds but food leaves a lot to be desired. It is midway between Marbella and Porte Banus and no markets or supermarkets near at hand for the necessaries such water etc. Pool but not no service for coffee or other such requirements. Hotel proper is about 200 yards away but a bar without beer etc and no body on duty. Such a she as this hotel has a lot going for it. It looses on the little details which mean a lot.
