Aloha Gardens is a lovely complex in a great location. This was our second stay as a family of 4 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the second year running. We stayed for 10 nights this year and while there were hens and stags during our stay they appeared very well behaved and caused no trouble that we saw. Mostly its family groups relaxing by the pool. I suppose you can be unlucky in any location but we didnt have any problem over the past 2 years in June/July. So to concludr very friendly staff in a superbly maintained well located complex.

Just back from 2nd trip at aloha gardens, the apartment was excellent, 3 large bedrooms and a sofa bed in the front room that had 2 single beds within it. I was with a group of friends for a 4 day holiday break. I have read other reviews and would like to say we were lucky not to have encountered any problems with hen and stag parties. There were groups of men and women all under control during the day and off out at night, hardly any noise. We booked the mini bus with aloha gardens, took all 7 of us to and from Malaga airport 207 euros so just under 30 euros each. Beautiful restaurant called studio 68 food was to die for, especially the carrot cake!!! Fred and the rest of the staff were lovely. The whole complex is lovely, the gardens are amazing and the staff very helpful and polite.

Room Tip: 3 bed room apartments will easily fit 8 people with no problem at all.

Came back from here recently from a hen doo. The accommodation is great. The pool area that we went to (there are 3 in total) was the top pool and was really quiet and most days there was only us around the pool. The pool is quite cold but due to the hot weather that we experienced, I was glad for. The trick is to just jump straight on - no messing around!!!

Arrived at the accommodation to find the staff supplying us with fresh milk and eggs etc as a welcome pack which was really good. The accommodation was over 2 floors then on the 2nd floor main bedroom there was also another balcony that led up to the roof terrace. Spotlessly clean accommodation and it was very much home from home.

There is a taxi rank outside of the hotel and for a taxi into Puerto Banus was only 7 euros. The accommodation is close to a supermarket, a selection of restaurants which we ate at and was lovely food. El Jardin was good and is attached to the hotel and there is a further italian just to the left of the hotel which was also very good.

There is onsite security. One night our door was left open and the security guard rang the bell at 4am to check that we knew it was open - we did. Felt reassured when this happened.

I am already looking at planning my next visit.

I stayed at Aloha Gardens during the bank holiday weekend along with 16 other girls for a Hen Do. These apartments were perfect!
Our actual apartment (which slept 8 people) was lovely, very large including kitchen, 3 bedrooms (one with en-suite) and 2 more bathrooms. Also, there were 2 huge balconies on each of the 2 floors ... We also found another little surprise when we saw a set of metal stairs on the 2nd balcony that lead to a huge sun terrace above! Fab!
The complex is huge and there are 3 swimming pools with gorgeous views.
The only slight downside is that the apartments are located in a slightly quiet area with only a few restaurants down the street. However, there are local supermarkets and some shops nearby and the main nightlife is only a 5 minute taxi-ride away!

Overall we had a great time and it was the perfect place for a hen party!
I wouldn't hesitate to go again, especially for the price. Thank you!

Stayed here for a hen weekend in a large group, with 4 ground floor apartments in a row. We had no complaints at all the complex was really nice, rooms spacious and clean, and 2 bathrooms in the larger 4-6 person rooms which was a nice surprise. There was no change of towels during our 3 night stay which was a bit of a nightmare because in the morning when going to collect our towels off the balcony where we’d left them to dry, we found them SOAKED through off the morning sprinklers!

We also had to pay €250 per room on arrival, which would be refunded at check out if everything was in order. We all got refunded no problem, but it was a bit of a shock to be asked for this when we weren’t expecting it. Luckily most of us had a credit card so weren’t out of pocket. The apartments are located a 5 minute taxi ride out of the action / marina area, but this meant it was nice and quiet and the complex was really nice compared to what we would’ve got in the centre of it all for the same price. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

I disagree with the review below about young/rowdy hens and stags though, we were there 02-05 May & didn't see any trouble or unacceptable behaviour. Our group age ranged from 27-55 so we were very respectful, and whilst there were a couple of other hen and stag parties on the complex they weren't too rowdy round the pool or at any other time (and our apartments were by the pool too). I guess it's just a stroke of bad luck that happened to them, but being in Marbella there are always going to be hens and stags, hopefully you won't be the unlucky ones to come into contact with the horrible ones, but I definitely wouldn't avoid Aloha Gardens because it was fine for us.

Room Tip: We had garden facing rooms which were lovely, close to the pool but not too close that we felt like...

Awful. This place used to be wonderful - a beautiful, sophisticated and relaxing place. It is now swarming with the type of people that you are used to seeing in the gutter outside Tiger Tiger in Croydon on a Saturday night - the men with blood on their shirts and the women with vomit in their hair. Screaming, swearing, smashing bottles, spilling alcohol in the pool and blasting out the very worst in tedious commercial dance music (complete with high pitched chipmunk vocals). It got so bad on the Saturday the 10th of May that we had to leave and booked ourselves into a hotel. Our property faces directly onto the pool area where 6 large hen/stag parties had taken over. At the worst point, there were 27 people getting as drunk as possible, in and around the pool. It was reminiscent of a budget Magaluf pool party. If you are under 23, overweight, cannot handle your drink, scream at the top of your lungs for no reason and enjoy humiliating yourself, Aloha Gardens is the place for you. Everybody else should look elsewhere. The management company really have let this place go to the dogs by offering dirt cheap stag/hen accommodation. I feel so sorry for the residents who have lived there all of these years. They must be devastated.

Aloha Gardens gets 1-star for the fact that the grounds are still beautifully maintained. I'm not sure why they bother though. The rabble that are hiring out their properties are hardly going to appreciate fine gardening. The location of Aloha Gardens is also excellent for restaurants but again - the new clientèle are not the type of people who spend £100 on a nice meal so those restaurants will probably not last for long. Perhaps KFC and Bargain Booze could replace them?

Dear Ms Louise Brain,

Thank you for your valuable feedback and I am sorry that you were disappointed with your subsequent visit to Aloha Gardens.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure clients are respectful of other guests, there is no avoiding the attraction of Puerto Banus to younger clientele during May, which has become the popular month for hen and stag parties, possibly because of the good weather, the two UK bank holidays and the exceptional value for money offered to all clients. Ideally there would be booking restrictions for groups but it’s quite likely that otherwise, the resort would struggle to achieve occupancy and unfortunately, economically this is not a viable option.

You have our reassurance that guests are vetted before they arrive however there is no control of all the rentals in the resort. In addition once guests are at the resort they are policed by video cameras and also the Management, those that break any rules are often if guilty removed, a zero tolerance policy is operated.

Your comments have been fully taken on board and my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Warmest regards,
