“Nice museum in an ordinary park”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

The bonsai museum is cool, but hidden in a quiet park which didn't smell very nice. Maybe in summer holiday time it will be busier, but at the time we visited, nobody was there.

“A hidden gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

For plant lovers this visit is a real must, and is easy to find just outside the old part of the city, although parking isn't that easy nearby. I would allow at least half an hour to be able to admire these wonderfully cared for bonzais - many far older than the majority of humans who care for them today!

“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2012 via mobile

Having gone to Marbella for a relaxing beach holiday I was surprised to find such a unique place. The Japanese style house hosted a wide array of bonsai trees of different types and ages, some even older than 500 years! Another plus was the lovely park surrounding the museum, nice place to cool down after a visit to the old town.

“Different”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2012

E4 entry, pretty impressive setting for a range of bonsai up to 500 yrs old. Set in a lovely park, with walks, a lake and full of locals. Just on the edge of the old town, outside the shadow od the castle.
